Good morning Bakersfield!! How are you guys doing?! Happy Saturday 😊! I’m Jo, I was born and raised in Normandy, France 🇫🇷, but at this point I have been living half of my life in the USA 🇺🇸, in Florida and California ☀️! I moved to Bakersfield 3 years ago when my husband and I (and our blended family) bought our dream house 🏠! I am a teacher IRL and on Skool! I can’t wait to meet you guys at the Bus 🚌 event! 😀

We are patiently waiting for the bus to be completed and to head here to Bakersfield so that we can participate in the ribbon-cutting and have a fun all day long in real life meet up with all the Bako schoolers!! What is most exciting for you in this?

Hey everybody… I hope everybody's doing good and just loving the heat 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 It's supposed to hit 108° by Monday..... oh happy day! We're just together a rather exciting event for August ‼️💖 🪿 The Goose Skool bus 🚌 is heading out on its United States tour and it's first stop is Bakersfield. We are coordinating events now! ☕️ What's on the docket is (and things are subject to change) a meet and greet at Uncharted Adventures Coffeehouse on 19th street. 🚣🏼‍♀️ A white water rafting tour with Rivers End Rafter out at Rio Bravo. 🍻 And possibly a brewery tour at Lengthwise Brewery on District Blvd. Stay tuned.... Make suggestions.....Come out and Celebrate 🎊

♥️💚 What happens when you choose rest before your body has to force it? 🤩 Today we played with Flow-State Deep Rest — FSDR, from Jamie Wheal. 💥 Think of it like a 20-minute pit stop for your body: not quite a nap, not another push-through, but a clean breath-centered reset when the day starts dragging. 🚀 Basic flow: 1. Lie down and do 20 quick “birthday candle” breaths 🎂 2. Exhale, hug knees to chest, hold briefly 3. Repeat the breaths, then inhale and move into happy baby 👶 4. Shift into vagal breathing: inhale about 4, long hum-exhale about 10, pause 2 🐝 5. Massage the face, jaw, eyes, and forehead 6. Rest on your back and let the breath become a wave 🌊 7. Gently return and get on with your day Try it when you hit that afternoon slump.
