Webinar and Month 2 Homework has been uploaded!
This month is all about Regulate: understanding the emotional loops, overwhelm patterns, scrolling habits, avoidance, shutdown, overthinking, procrastination, and automatic responses that can pull you away from yourself. Please make time to watch the webinar and work through the homework gently. You do not need to do it perfectly, and you do not need to overhaul your whole life this week. The invitation is simply to begin noticing: What happens in me before I disconnect from myself? This is powerful work because once you can see the loop, you can start to interrupt it. One pause, one breath, one tiny regulating action, one honest return at a time. Tiny counts. Participation counts. Noticing counts. Come back to the material, share your reflections in the group, and let this month help you build more steadiness, self-trust, and choice in real life.

My Intentions
Ok - I must admit that this time around, my intentions have taken aaaaaages to land. There just seems to be so much that is in flux at the moment - shifts in the business structure, health challenges, elderly parents needing attention, etc etc blah blah blah! So I am choosing these simple micro habits because I want to practise staying with the small, ordinary things that actually shape my life. This way there is less room for excuses, overcomplication, or waiting until I feel ready. I think I do these regularly anyway - but possibly not at the level of commitment that would really shift the deeper stuff that gets in the way. The deeper work is not in making the habit impressive; it is in staying with it consistently over time, especially when it gets boring, difficult, inconvenient, or starts to uncover something deeper and stickier underneath. Rather than flitting off to the next very important focus when this one asks more of me, I will practise commitment, steadiness, and follow-through. ( yep - thats making my heart beat faster - I must be onto something! ) Drum roll please..... This month, I will create one simple weekly routine that helps me feel less rushed, and I will choose one basic adult responsibility to make easier, so my life feels more supported from the ground up.

Am also very pleased to note that posting this makes me a little teeny bit excited about getting stuck into it. Huzzah!!
Regulation
its more than simply relaxing. We are sitting in nested systems that pull us out of natural regulation CONSTANTLY! Next month we explore these larger systems and cycles that we should resist at our peril! Far better to find ways to gently lean into them. They will hold us when we cannot quite hold ourselves...

Last Nights Coaching Call
Thank you Liam and Zali for such a rich conversation on the coaching call last night. Zali, I loved what you named around the relief of realising: this decade is about knowing that "every part of my life is under construction." There is something so freeing in that. Not everything needs to be decided, resolved, polished or complete. Sometimes the work is simply recognising that we are in a building phase — and that this is not a problem. It is the season we are in. And Liam, what you shared about noticing the somatic tension that arises when moving into a new and unfamiliar system was so important. Because often, even when the new system is supportive, the body still has to orient to it. And then that tension can feel like another thing to navigate. For farks sake.... More on this later, but for now I just want to name this for us all: when tension arises in the body, it is not necessarily a sign that something is wrong. It may be a flag for attention. A place to pause. A place to listen. A place very close to home. That tension can become part of the map....
