Peace, Although I have only noticed the surface of what you are offering, it appears to be super dope. In the Realm if music production, I have worked with West African , Afro Cuban rhythms, and with a bunch of Brazilian percussion, exploring all kinds of polyrhythms. Particularly attracted to the Brazilian candoble traditions. As a Hiphoppa I acknowledge the remix that makes my life, I do my best to humbly acknowledge, have not or originated from any of these traditions, but I want to integrate aspects deeper into my life. I am very fond and intimately connected with the relationship of rhythms with various Orishas. All of this has hit my head and my heart very strong, but my feet are still quite trapped in gringolandia wallflower embodiment ha ha ha. So I’m looking to establish a foundation in my footwork from a very basic level, and it makes sense to me connecting to the deeper traditions, although my partner and I are enjoying being rookies in exploring salsa, and Bachata, and all the other delicious styles of couple dancing. Generally, couple dancing seems very far away as I don’t have much confident in my solo footwork let alone leading. Overall, I’m excited about what you were offering and look forward to going deeper.
