My dog Penny was looking out our front window barking at a squirrel, on right front of my house, and as he ran across my front yard, right to left, Penny ran from that side of the house, into my office on the left side of the house, to my office window, in an attempt to "chase" the squirrel!

Hey all, My dog has developed herself into quite the clothing thief! She specializes in stealing my socks and my wife's linen napkins, even when we try to hide them. Luckily, she has graduated from chewing shoes and slippers, but this new habit has come along. We have to close all our doors in the house, and remember to hide these items, but alas, today I didn't, and I paid the sock price! I even had them hidden under a couple pair of shorts, and she still got to one of the socks, which looks like a piranha got to them. What is everyone else doing that may have a sock thief in their homes?

Hi all, I am participating in a workshop and was posed a great question, so I am going to ask you all a few questions. For those of you a adopted a dog from a shelter or rescue, what process did you use? Did you just go to a shelter or did you do research first? Was it your first dog? Did you plan ahead, or just go to get a dog and then went on from there. For those of you who went to a breeder, what was your process for this route? What was the decision making process you used to pick you specific breed of dog that you wanted? Last question: If you had a " Dog Adoption guide", would it have made things easier for you in the process of bringing your dog home?
