And most people will drift into it. Ash Wednesday will come. They’ll give up something small. They’ll try for a few days. And by Week 2, it fades. But Lent is not meant to be casual. It is a 40-day reset. A spiritual recalibration. A time to strip away comfort and rebuild discipline. If you approach it intentionally, it can change the trajectory of your year — spiritually and practically. For us as Catholics building businesses, portfolios, and families… Lent is not about weakness. It's about sharpening. Less distraction. More prayer. More clarity. More interior order. And when the interior life becomes ordered, everything else follows — leadership, provision, discipline, execution.
