How do you recognize a false teacher?
... and WHY is this important? As we have been studying through 2 Corinthians I have been confronted with how much Paul warns believers about wolves in sheep's clothing... and apart from some watchdog ministries I don't see this taught a lot out there, despite almost 1 out of 5 verses in 1 and 2 Corinthians discussing it. What about you? Why or why not is this something we should focus on?

We need to be still when we are listening to speakers in ministry. Hear the Lord's voice over man's voice
First Public Meeting
Yesterday we had "church" at the city (Estero) park ... there was no sermon - we sat in a circle and talked as a group. Everyone had an opportunity to speak, ask questions and pray. I'd like to think we all came away knowing each other and God's word a little better. In addition to those benefits, meeting in a public place means there is no overhead, no budget, no building to pay for or maintain, no committees, none of that. Just people gathering together in an authentic expression of faith in Jesus. ❤️🙌🏼 What are some qualities of a "good" meeting in your opinion?

People getting together and learning about the Lord and each other. That's true fellowship that leads to relationships

What if we thanked God for our troubles?
Does it sound cliché? Do you take versus literally when they tell us to rejoice in our trials and afflictions? What is the purpose, do you think?

I always said that troubles are training for reigning! When we take the time to be thankful our days are brighter ;)

I enjoy the Lord, family, and friends. I love being a servant to many people, but the Lord is my favorite one to serve
