I really enjoyed this conversation! You talked about me when you mentioned the email we (you) wrote together on my negotiation email to expand my work within a current income stream. UPDATE: This negotiation lead to a win and I now have more space to increase my hours and scope of work!
Values Alignment
This first step to lasting systemic change is coherence. What do you value? How can you not compromise on those values? Where can you amplify those values a little louder in your day to day life. Far too often we fail to make the changes we would like to see in the world because we don't know what we want. We don't know what liberation looks like in our lives. That coherence looks like getting clear on what is important to you and living your life in alignment with those actions. In practice, you will understand your values and build the habits, practices, behaviors, and connections that mirror those values. This week in our Action and Accountability call we are going to be talking about values alignment. This is a foundational practice for our work here in the income REBELLION and I recommend everyone comes! In preparation, here's a lil activity.. 1. Write a list of all of your values 2. Sit with the list and circle your top four values 3. Define those values to the best of your ability During our live call we will be talking about what our vaues are and how we can integrate them more deeply into income streams for the short and long term. Along wth updates to the accountability tracker. You can join the call here at 8pm ET. Feel free to share your values below as you do the exercise. Talk soon!

I tried to join the call but wasn't able to get through but I did enjoy the activity of reviewing my values, here's what I came up with for my personal top 4: 1. Playfulness: establishing ease in situations or with others by offering a joke or bringing a smile to yourself and those around you 2. Sincerity: offering vulnerability through words and actions seeing each interaction with others as an opportunity for connection 3. Curiosity: viewing the world and this experience of life as a way to grow and expand. Showing interest in the new instead of fear 4. Simplicity: creating a state of being and an environment that is easeful and open to possibilities.

My accountability task was to get feedback from family and friends. Here is what I collected 1) My greatest strengths: a capacity to listen, ability to find joy and silliness, honest sensitivity and thoughtfulness, level headed 2) Things they learn from me: how to have empathy for other people's experience, prioritizing self-care, importance of boundaries, how your attitude can effect your experience, how to be more pragmatic. 3) Ways I make the world better that I don't see in myself: Creative and expressive, honest and true to myself in choosing my path, love for animals, giving of my time and energy, dependable resource for others 4) one weakness I have that I may not see in myself: Over-care with others at my expense, struggle with confidence, hold back on sharing my thoughts without prompting, allow fear to stay small and hidden, lack belief in my abilities and talents.

@Chelsea Canedy I think what surprised me most was that they see me as creative because I don't view myself that way and am constantly downplaying my artistic side. I like expressing my playful side the most or as my sister said "ability to find joy and silliness in most situations".
Action + Accountability
Todays Action and Accountability session is on in jussttttt 30 min.
