OOTE: Black and white formal attire — a study in contrast.
In this month of January I attended both a black-tie wedding and the first symphony concert of the season at Miami’s Arsht Center, the later of which presented the opportunity to wear a white dinner jacket I recently acquired from SuitSupply. -- Ralph Lauren Purple Label made-to-measure shawl collar tuxedo; Fiori di Lusso linen pocket square; Apposta pleated tuxedo shirt; Curated Basics mother of pearl cufflinks; Trafalgar white silk suspenders; Fort Belvedere black silk cummerbund, self-tie bow tie and black silk stockings; Christian Louboutin black patent leather slip-ons; Sternglass black and white analog watch. -- SuitSupply made-to-measure ecru wool twill shawl collar dinner jacket; Hermès red pocket square; Eton black cotton poplin shirt; Brioni black wool trousers; Turnbull & Asher black silk suspenders with white polka dots; Fort Belvedere black silk stockings; Bruno Magli black lace-up derby shoes; Apple Watch Hermès Series 10 with black leather strap; Burberry silk scarf.

Absolutely love this! 👏 The black-and-white contrast really elevates both looks classic and timeless. The attention to detail with pocket squares, cummerbunds, and watches shows a real mastery of formal styling. Curious did you have a favorite piece from either outfit that you felt really made the look pop?

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, Since I started my journey and even more so recently, I have been more mindful and observant of things and people. Not in a negative and judgmental way but rather in a learning process of what to do an what not to do. One thing that I had to come to the realization is that there are so many aspects of becoming a gentleman or a lady for our ladies in this community, and even more so than I originally thought. So, as we start to develop and transform into these different aspects of being ladies and gentlemen and we began to hone in on these attributes, qualities, and characteristics, we have to fine tune them and then apply them to each one of us to fit who we are, this can be a difficult and daunting task especially, when we are not endure it, we want to make that change or even if it is for us. And we think that this is difficult part of this transformation, but this is still the easy part of this. Now here comes the really important part, to start bringing all these aspects together and, make then fit like a puzzle. As you began to adjust, move, turn, and try to make sense and make it look like it is supposed to look from all the pictures you've seen in magazines, books, movies, and those in person. We will even go as far as trying to trim something that we know will not fit to try to make it work, and we want to make it work until we step back and look; and certain parts of this picture, we have that we want to be look good but there is somethings that are off in this picture, like the right shoes, the right fit, the right fragrances for you, the picture we are looking for is very close but just not quite right. So we finally get it right to where we want it to be, the right look and everything we have in in place. Now here comes the moist important and most difficult part of this whole endeavor we started out to do, now it's time to put our masterpiece on display, to walk out in public and display our canvas, (our new person we brought into existence), to put ourselves on display to the world.
@Anthony Buntyn That’s beautiful and so important 💛 Learning to love yourself and embrace your growth is truly the foundation for everything else. Every step you take toward self-acceptance makes the change feel more natural and empowering. How are you practicing that love and happiness with your change?
@Anthony Buntyn hmmm 🤔 okay

Critiques always welcome Heater blew in the middle of winter, so the HVAC is being replaced today, ensuring I won't get much done today. Granted, although our morning are cold, our daytime highs will be in the 70s much of the week. @Dr. Jason Cole Solid winter-meets-spring combo 👌 The blue-on-blue layering between the shirt, jacket, and tie sounds especially cohesive, and the cinnamon brown double monks tying into the watch strap is a nice detail that kind of color echo shows intention. If I were to suggest one tweak: With that vivid Renaissance-pattern tie and textured shirt, I’d be curious how it would look with a slightly calmer pocket square (maybe plain white without contrast stitching) to let the tie remain the focal point. Also, how’s the weight of that Peter Millar jacket for 70s weather? Sounds like a great piece for transitional seasons.

Powerful reminder 💯 Character is the one asset no market crash can touch. Skills open doors, fame brings attention, money brings options — but character decides how long you stay in the room. Real question for the room: What’s one habit you’re building right now to strengthen your character daily?
@Gunny Khan you are welcomed 🙏 😀
