📝 Homework Assignment: 1️⃣ Create a free Make.com account (no card required). 2️⃣ Identify at least two HR processes in your organization that could be automated. 3️⃣ Map one of them using PowerPoint, whiteboard, or SmartArt (use the 5Ws). 4️⃣ Upload a photo or file of your map to the classroom. 💡 Bonus: Share an example of a “bad process” that could be improved before automating.

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Jessica, though most people call me Jess (either works!). I’m based in the DC/MD/VA area and have been in HR for almost a decade, primarily within the government contractor space. Over the years, I’ve worn a few different HR hats... from Generalist to HR Partner, and now I’m focused on Onboarding, Integration, and Learning & Leadership. I joined this program because I’ve always been naturally curious and passionate about learning. I'm really curious about how various organizations are approaching the skill gap with HR professionals who are new to the AI/data realm. Also, PRIVACY! What are ways HR is planning the responsible use of AI, especially in a department that is privy to PI.
