ethics and whats right or wrong
hello people have u ever thought about ethics in a very logical way what makes something wrong or right its weird cuz all of us know whats wrong and whats right but we cant say for sure why so. for exp why is walking in public with only a boxer wrong or why is eating dogs wrong theres no answer to these questions thats why i think the best thing to do is to follow a religion cuz thinking about everything logically will not lead u to an answer it will just lead u to nothing has meaning cuz it all dies

@Sam Kahlool I'm not exactly validating these beliefs as true or just. Religion is the truth because it is inherently human. To deny religion is to deny your humanity. You can seek "meaning" outside of religion, aka eudaimonia. But I see this as missing part of the whole. There's a grandiosity and overarching story that surpasses a human lifespan which religion offers to us. I use words with supernatural connotation for a reason. I don't personally believe there's any peace to be found in reducing consciousness down to chemical reactions. Or at least, I have found no peace from that in the past. It only caused me depression. Todays scientific paradigms shut off my heart from what I find genuine peace in. Science is still amazing and has taught us a lot, but there's a certain duality necessary when we talk about the brain vs. the human heart. Or science vs. soul.
