Glass Half Full
I’m a glass half full guy. Today was shockingly busy for me personally. Fitting in a workout these days are tricky so I have to make the most of it. Just one exercise today. 100 reps of squats in as little time as possible. Hands down the best and only exercise I do for my legs. Fueled by at least several coffees today! Happy Wednesday ☕️ 💪🏼

About Hobby Brew
Hey! My name is Jesse, and I’m from Melbourne Australia. I have combined my love for coffee and adopting a fitness daily lifestyle for over 10 years, and now find myself on the road finding small local cafes, and sharing their love for the community.. especially coffee. I document places I have been, highlighting where the coffee has come from and the origins about it. What makes me unique is I share how I integrate how you can use coffee as a tool to help develop your body’s capabilities in all forms of daily activities in life. Thanks for joining! 🙂
Sunday Barbell Work
Back in 2022 I tore both of my hamstrings. The right one in March and the left one in November. A few minors tears after that but I have tried to keep it from tearing for the past few years and it has held up well. The one thing I have changed in my training is to keep moving the muscle. Just like any muscle it needs movement. Our body’s are made to move. Yes there is a time for rest, but for the most part we generally like to be active in some way. I have found for me personally that volume in the hamstrings is key. Here I do just a simple 10 sets of 10 reps at about 60kg. Happy weekend! 🙂

Rainy sundays
What do your rainy sundays look like? Melbourne is very windy, gloomy and rainy. Having my morning coffee and contemplating on the day ahead. I’ve bought the barbell inside today and considering just repping Romanian deadlifts. How many reps shall I do?
