I saw myself helping to make another company rich. When I made the transition to go all on my own they actually became one of my first clients!! I absolutely love being a full time entrepreneur!
Would love to see what kind of workers we got in this group 🥰 I am the Vice President of Marketing at Techstars, the largest pre-seed startup investor in the world. I love working with founders and helping them start and scale their businesses. That's why I haven't left yet. ❤️ So, my CMO Growth Guide business where I help coaches and consultants with their marketing and to get clients consistently, is a side hustle for me. I absolutely love it! Helping service professionals and people that can't afford a Chief Marketing Officer is totally my passion. ❤️ How about you?
Fulltime in my business! I have been self-employed for over a decade and honestly I could never go back. I am a designer and digital artist with close to 30 years of creative experience, and right now I am in one of the most exciting seasons of my business life. I run a membership community for Christian women building product-based creative businesses... think Etsy sellers, tumblers, print-on-demand, crafters, makers. I create ready-to-use digital art and design resources for them every single week, and I get to pour into them through our community on Skool. It is a rebuilding season for me in the best possible way. I am building something that actually fits the life I want, and I wake up every morning genuinely grateful I get to do this. STRUGGLING in the area of marketing and lead gen so Here I Am SO THANKFUL that God crossed our paths!! Andrea, I have to say the fact that you are building something this meaningful on top of a VP role at Techstars is next level. That takes a kind of dedication most people do not understand until they are living it themselves.
@Andrea Palten It is 100% on my radar!!! and Thank You!!! My website is: https://www.jesicamarshall.com/ and you can join my skool group here: https://www.jesicamarshall.com/join_the-creative-connection-community If anyone reading feels like they are a fit for our tribe I would LOVE to have you join us!! The community is completely Free!!
In the past, when someone came on our email list, we would send a 3-5 part email series. What marketers used to recommend. Lately, lots of research shows that people need longer and more emails because of all the noise! So we now recommend a 10-14 part email series. I’m about to launch my LinkedIn course and I’m testing out an 11 part email series now.
I currently have a 5-8 email sequence depending on where you enter my funnel. BUT each of those roll right into my Email Nurture Sequence that sends three emails per week. They are completely evergreen and meet the potential member or current member right where they are at!! Sunday Reflection, Midweek Encouragement (on Wednesdays) and Creative Invitation (on Thursdays) and my open rates are 50%+ for every email which is exciting to me!
@Andrea Palten THANK YOU!!! atleast I have one piece correct!!! Now if I can just figure out the Lead Gen to get people Into The Funnel!!! Once I get them into my ecosystem I do pretty well it is the Getting them into the funnel where the struggle is real!! I am working with Claude now fixing some mistakes on the website that are holding me back so maybe its a good thing that the eyes on things have been slow lol
I'm nerding about with Claude "Artifacts" and just made you this to do list for Impact (check one off, see how I had Claude add confetti): https://www.cmogrowthguide.com/skool-to-do-list
Yesterday's Impact Premium call was fun, we got to be creative. I helped with my clients website. How's your site looking? You happy with yours? But most importantly is it converting website visitors into paying clients?
