So last week LinkedIn dropped the character count on the Connect Request messages to 200 from 300. Please adjust any connection campaigns to ensure you don’t exceed 200 characters including spaces. In Leadeth, I like to add a buffer for inclusion of any placeholders like {first_name} and {company_name} that could be long taking the massage over 200. You’ll notice prospects getting stuck in ‘pending’. Developers are updating the /300 count on the User Interface.
