When is it too much?
So just learned the lesson most new drone owners learn. More of something, isn’t always a good idea. 😅 You buy that spiffy new drone and play with it for like a month or two and then you start looking for accessories for your new toy. 🤦🏻♂️ Initial tests had it performing well enough…. Long story short, make sure you buy well vetted accessories or you’ll end up diving into a snow plow pile, trying to catch your spiraling out of control drone, falling from 300+ feet. 🙈 Anyone else with a similar lesson learned in the beginning? Thanks for humoring us. 😉

@Robert Lewis I have the DJI Mini 5 Pro and as it’s new, all of the accessories out there are new, few actually tested. I bought prop guards and a set of landing sleds with flashlight attachments. Thought it would be an interesting addition. 😅 Each piece made it unstable and altogether, a wobbly mess, but only in the wind. It appeared to handle fine when there was no wind. As the drone rose, the wind picked up and the already partially unstable drone lost control. Pretty sure it was the entirely flat surfaces of the rails on the landing gear that kept catching the wind and the drone was unable to compensate. I only lost 3 props and learned that I need to exercise a bit more caution and forethought with attachments and testing of said attachments before actual flights. Read the reviews and if there are none, don’t buy. 🤭

They really pushing those sales circuits…. 🤭 Doing all they can to make that $$$ 😉 I dislike them for their behavior towards DJI and their efforts in the “ban”, but I do have respect for the products they show here.
