Instrument change?
I’m considering switching from trombone to euphonium next year, I’m familiar with the valve combinations but I’m worried that my tone won’t be as consistent. Any opinions on if changing instruments is necessarily difficult would help.

@Danny Kirkhum That’s great to know! I don’t have access to a euphonium so I won’t have practice before next year. I did not know tone production is usually easier on the euphonium. Considering all of that I’m most likely going to switch to the euphonium next year.

Unexpected change of speed
Uhm, I found out that in the performance the pieces are faster than I practiced, oh my.

@Danny Kirkhum I was able to play the piece up to speed on concert day, I’ll try to prepare next time I have a concert.
