"Sleep well?" she asks. "Like a baby," I say. The truth? I stared at the ceiling until 4 AM, doing math that never adds up. Rent. Pills. The silence of a phone that won't ring with shifts I desperately need. She's 74. She thinks I'm just a student. She doesn't know I wash dishes until my hands crack, that I walked home in rain last night because the bus costs too much, that I hide the envelopes with red stamps. She gave up her country for my future. Now I lie awake wondering how long I can keep hers from collapsing. If someone once showed up for you when you had nothing left— Be that someone now.

For those of you who don't know me, I've been in goosofy for over a year, won a Goosify blitz, and partied in Costa Rica with a lot of amazing goosify folks like @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Jen Ritchie @Bill Widmer @Mogene Christensen @Joshua Gatonyi @Becky Teresa @Samanda Rasmussen @Kai Lorenz and of course got to meet the goosify team irl like @Goose Dunlavey @Tony Loew and @Vincent Roswandowicz . Since being here, I've written a book with goosifier and publisher @Sierra Melcher and fellow goosifier @Diana Frank . I've also learned from goosifier, skool games winner, touring musician, and AI master @Quincy Patti who helped me learn how to build my own app. And now, here I am working after my 4 kids went to bed on a Sunday night, working on an app to systemize everything ive learned about social media and marketing into an app (like @Goose Dunlavey suggested from my 1:1 coaching call from him) with my published book on my desk and a Lego lapras gracing my presence. I used to think Goosify was about silly memes, gifs, wacky adventures, pokemon, rainbows, and unicorns. Its actually about getting around kickass people that will change your life (and also a little bit about pokemon). This year's word is SCALE and im feeling it deeply in this moment.
