Quick reminder for everyone in this space 🤍 As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, you are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education each year to maintain your certification. If you didn’t know that, you’re not alone. A lot of people aren’t told clearly, and that’s okay. No stress, no shame. Just start where you are. The important thing is to begin tracking and collecting your hours now so you don’t find yourself scrambling later. That’s part of why I created this space. I’ll be posting new trainings each week, ranging from free to paid, to help you build your hours in a way that actually supports you in your work. Not just checking a box, but giving you tools, insight, and support you can use every day. I’m also actively working on uploading a full peer, family, and recovery curriculum into the classroom section so you’ll have access to a complete learning path over time.
