The Right Time Never Came
I waited for the kids to be older. For life to feel more settled. For a clearer idea. For more confidence. And while I waited, other moms started. Not because they had more time. Not because they had it figured out. Because they decided that messy and moving was better than perfect and still. If you’re in a waiting season right now, I just want to say: The mess is allowed to come with you. You don’t have to have it together to begin. 🌿

Nobody told us AI could do this
Not the overwhelmed mom managing kids, a household and trying to build something on the side. Not the mom who opens her laptop at 9pm when everyone is finally asleep and stares at a blank page wondering where her energy went. Not the mom who has a real idea, real skills and real drive but not enough hours in the day to do anything with them. AI was built by tech people for tech people. Until moms like us started using it differently. Not to build apps. Not to write code. Not to automate a corporation. To write the email we've been avoiding for two weeks. To plan the week in ten minutes instead of an hour. To finally get the business idea out of our heads and into something real. This is what nobody told us. AI is not a tech tool dressed up in complicated language. It is the most practical thing a busy mom can have open on her laptop right now. And that's exactly what we're exploring together in here. What's one thing you'd love AI to take off your plate this week? Drop it below. πŸ‘‡ 🌿
What happened with Claude yesterday 🌿
Something big happened in the AI world yesterday and I want to make sure you hear it from me first. 🌿 Anthropic, the company behind Claude, had two of their newest AI advanced models temporarily suspended by the US government over national security concerns. I know that sounds alarming. Here's what it actually means for us: The Claude we use every day is completely unaffected. Our tools, our workflows, our products...nothing changes. This is actually a moment that shows why I chose Claude over every other AI tool. Anthropic pushes back publicly when they disagree with something. They're transparent about what happened and why. They prioritise safety so seriously that even the government is paying attention. That's the company I want building the tool I teach you to use. We're safe. We're fine. Keep building. 🌿 Any questions, drop them below. I'm here.
Unpopular Opinion
Your first digital product doesn’t need to be good. It needs to exist. Good comes from feedback. Feedback comes from people seeing it. People can’t see what you never finish. Done and imperfect beats perfect and invisible every single time. What’s sitting unfinished on your laptop right now? Name it. πŸ‘‡

She was never gone 🌿
This is for you if you’ve lost a little bit of yourself in motherhood. 🌿 There’s a version of you that existed before the kids. She had thoughts that had nothing to do with school schedules. She had interests that weren’t about someone else’s needs. She had a sense of self that wasn’t entirely built around being someone’s mom. And somewhere in the beautiful chaos of it all, she got a little lost. Not gone. Just buried. Under the packed lunches and the dentist appointments and the permission slips and the endless invisible work of holding everything together. Here’s what changed for me. I started giving myself 20 minutes in the morning that are completely mine. Not for the kids. Not for the house. Not for the to-do list. Just me, thinking about something I actually care about. What I’m building. What I’m curious about. What I want. And I started using AI as my thinking partner in that space. That tiny pocket β€” 20 minutes with something that just thinks with me? It started bringing her back. The version of me that exists outside of mom mode. She wasn’t gone. She just needed a little room. If this is you, you’re not alone. Drop a 🌿 below if you found her again. Or if you’re still looking.
