Can 5 Days of Focused Study Be Enough for My PMP Exam?
Hi everyone, I’m planning to take 5 days of study leave to focus on my PMP exam prep. If I dedicate around 8 hours per day, do you think that’s enough time to get through the course material and the book? Would love to hear what worked for others who’ve written the exam.

The PMP exam is not a test that can study for in five days, at 8 hours a day. At some point you are just memorizing concepts, but the test will challenge your understanding in the application. Granted everyone absorbs knowledge differently, and at a different pace, but you are doing yourself a disservice if you go this route. Bigger question is --- have you already obtained your 35 hour PDU's? If you have, you should know what content will be on the exam and whether you can successfully prep in five days. If you have not achieved your 35 hour PDU's and looking to get that done in five days, you are not setting yourself up for success. I have both my PMP and PMI-ACP, hard earned through Andrew's courses and I needed to put in the work. Don't fool yourself into taking any shortcuts.
Prepping for PMI-ACP and taking test in July! Who else is doing this?
Is anyone relying on additional study books for the test? If so, which ones? Thanks in advance!

PMP and just recently PMI-ACP certified, took both of @Andrew Ramdayal 's courses. Pay attention to when he says you don't need to memorize stuff versus really understanding concepts. Pace yourself and don't EVEN try to cram study. Make sure you score above 80% on the practice tests and quizzes, and make your own flash cards. Remember ---- low tech, HIGH TOUCH! Good luck all!
PMP Certified!!!
Thrilled to share that I have passed the PMP exam on 7th July, 2025 in my first attempt. Thank you @Andrew Ramdayal sir for the udemy course that helped me to develop my mindset required to crack the exam. And Best of Luck to everyone who is in the same journey for the PMP & CAPM, I am 100% sure that you too will crack the exam in the 1st attempt. Enjoy the Process!!!😎

Welcome to the PMP Club! 😃
Here goes nothing! Test day tomorrow!
Well.....I've done all the studying I could have done at this point, reviewing my formulas, knowledge areas, processes and ITTO's. Test day is tomorrow! While I feel more than prepared, I've made peace with the slight possibility I might not pass. And that's ok. There are way bigger, more serious problems in the world right now. But FWIW.....thought you'd all get a kick out of my "low tech / high touch" flash cards. Wish me luck!

@Dionne Farmer - In addition to Andrew's PMP exam prep videos, I had his PMP book to supplement my studying. I just grouped my notecards by the chapter and the knowledge areas. Nothing too complicated. :)

@Dionne Farmer - yeah, keep it super easy for when you need to review everything before sitting for the PMP exam. I highly advise knowing your EVM and the Knowledge Areas / Processes thoroughly, and there's some quick trip from Andrew in the chapters at the end. Do that, and you will pass the test! Good luck!
