I am looking to submit a Live Lab abstract that addresses a constraint experienced daily in the field. Lean keeps improving materials, planning, and workflows, yet one constraint still slips through our systems: human depletion, often mislabeled as hydration. Crews have been following prevention plans, drinking plenty of water, and still experiencing fatigue, missed handoffs, decision degradation, safety interruptions, and declining PPC. That’s compliance without risk reduction. The work I’m bringing forward is field-proven and Lean-grounded: depletion and restoration as operational conditions. When capacity drops, flow breaks. When capacity is restored in real time, clarity returns and commitments hold. My Live Lab uses PDCA and visual management to make human performance visible and reduce risk without adding process burden.
