I cut my hair with kitchen scissors....
Two years ago, I was staring at a version of my life I didn’t recognize. I had been laid off from my corporate job. My car was repossessed. I was a single mom to a two-year-old, sitting in an apartment with almost no furniture, and staring down the barrel of bankruptcy. I couldn’t even afford a haircut at Great Clips. So, I stood in the bathroom mirror and used kitchen scissors just so I could look presentable at job interviews. I started posting because I felt like if I didn't, I might actually disappear. No strategy. No fancy gear. Just me, a 3-hour daily commute, and a "second shift" of editing between 11 PM and 2 AM after my toddler went to bed. Then, I stumbled onto the "One Journey Rule." I stopped just "posting" and started labeling my reality: Single Mom in Bankruptcy. Watch the video below. 🎥 You can see the exact moment the math changed. I went from a few thousand views to hundreds of thousands in just 18 days. That led to: - My first $3,000 TikTok check. - Amazon Affiliate acceptance. - My first four-figure brand deal. I’m sharing this because I know some of you are tired. I know you’re wondering if the "algorithm" will ever pick you. The algorithm doesn't pick you. The people do. And they pick the person who shows up. This community was built for our "kitchen scissor" moments. We are all beginners here, and we are all here to grow. The 30 Posts in 30 Days Challenge kicks off March 1st. If you haven’t downloaded your tracker yet, go to the Classroom tab NOW. Let’s find your "One Journey Rule" and build some serious momentum together. Drop a 🚦 in the comments if you’re committed to showing up for the next 30 days!
