Lessons learned from a broken bracelet
I have a friendship-type bracelet that I never take off. Until today that is. It's from the show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and it says what Midge's bristly manager barks as a pep talk before she takes the stage: "Titsup." I didn't get it at a Taylor Swift concert, obviously. I got it at a market two years ago when I started my coaching biz, to give me the same pep talk. It has the added bonus of self-selecting my tribe. Many who notice nod knowingly as fans of the show. And others laugh because it's the first time they've heard it, and they think it's pretty cool. This morning, I woke to find all the beads scattered between the sheets. I was devastated. (I mean, I've had it for 2 years, but still!) 'No problem,' I consoled myself, 'I'll restring it.' Except I couldn't find the "I." If any of the colored beads were missing, that'd be an easy fix, but the "I"? That was pretty necessary. I combed through the sheets, the bathroom rug, the other bathroom rug. Nothing. I was officially bummed. But I couldn't let it ruin my day. So I put the beads I had and the broken string in a bowl and stopped the negative self-talk of 'Why didn't you restring that? You bought the elastic months ago!' I know the downward spiral staircase that kind of admonishment puts me on. Then I, in the inspirational words of Elsa, Let it go, Let it go... I made coffee, meditated, journaled, replied to social media comments and then, before I walked out the door, I scratched my back and felt it. A small, hard circle stuck to my shoulder blade. The "I." ‘How funny,’ I giggled. 'How poignant,' I mused. Perhaps the pep talk I needed today was not one of courage, but of individuality. In a sea of "experts" it's easy to forget that there's only one who truly knows what's right for "I" (that's not proper English, but I'm making a point). Every step of growth invites fear and doubt. I can listen to others, but I need to listen to myself more. Things get weird in my head when I don't. "I" also represents what my new, intimate group coaching program, The Inner Compass Collective, is all about. The four directions of the compass, our inner GPS, are: insight, intuition, inner authority, and identity.

Tonight’s first new moon of 2026
It’s a new moon in Capricorn ♑️ on January 18. 🌑 New moons are for beginnings and intentions, and this one especially supports practical, grounded commitments (not just vibes—real structures, timelines, and boundaries). ☀️🌑The sun and moon are together in Capricorn, so themes are: long‑term goals, responsibility, self‑authority, and getting strategic about what you want this year. 💫Energetic invitation for you It's a beautiful night to: - Clarify 2–3 concrete commitments around self‑trust and inner authority. - Choose one structure you’ll actually use: a ritual, boundary, or habit that anchors your inner compass in the “real world” (Capricorn loves form).

....make my day!! I was a guest on a prolific author/witchy woman's YouTube yesterday, promoting my book and talking about my favorite topic: the power of the mind. I awoke to this gem in my inbox today. THIS is my purpose, passion, and mission, and I'm thrilled that someone received it so openly. I wanted to share it because we just never know the effect we can have on someone. Hopefully, she joins our lovely group 🙏🏽 (I'll post the interview here once it's live.) Hi Jennifer! You have no idea how you lifted my spirits yesterday. Just talking to you shifted my mindset and got my head “above water”. It was exactly what I needed. I will take a look at Skool sometime this weekend. Best, Nancy

Welcome to The Level Up Lounge⚡️We are so glad you're here! And because growth can be fun, the lounge is based on the gamified movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Scott must vanquish all seven of Ramona's evil exes to win her heart. Each victory flashes a "Leveling Up" power bar across the screen and grants Scott additional powers. In The Lounge, the evil exes are internal. They're old, adopted, and ingrained patterns, secretly and stealthily holding you back. As we defeat them, we "level up" and get more power. The love we earn is our own. Meet the 7 Evil Exes: 🗣️The Inner Critic 🤸🏼‍♂️The People-Pleaser 💯The Perfectionist 🙇🏼‍♀️The Overthinker 🏃🏻‍♀️The Hustler/Prover 🙈The Avoider 🫵🏼The Outsourcer We'll defeat them together. Start simple: - Say hi 👋 so I know you made it in. Like this: I'm from__________. Something on my bucket list is______. Share a pic of something that you love.

I'm in Key West for the winter. I want to swim with dolphins in Hawaii. Here's a pic of something I love - being on the water.
