Personally I don't do 1 card readings for others, and rarely do one for myself. For me the reason is because I've never known life to be a simple "yes" or "no", nor is it ever "black and white". There are certainly times it would be nice if that were the case but after 66 years I have no memory of ever having had such a moment :) The problem with asking a question that could be answered with a yes or no response is that you, or the person you are reading for, is getting only a "partial" answer. The card pulled may indeed be the appropriate answer but ... and there is always a "but" or an "if" or even a "however". Pulling a second or even a third card would give a much clearer reason for the answer Here is an example when a 1 card pull could possible harm the "querent" (the person for whom the reading is done) Question = "Will he ask me at dinner tonight to marry?" Answer = "No" The rest of the answer = "...because he is planning on popping the question in Christmas Eve" So someone's heart may accidently be broken, a relationship damaged because of a mis-interpretation, an incomplete answer Just something for you to think about

April was/is a rather unsettling month. If you keep abreast of world happenings I'm sure you have noticed. And if you went to YouTube and listened to Glynnis (see yesterday's post) she even mentioned that through history.the month of April has had.many unsettling occurrences. This last day of April 2026 breaks down into the number 8 (4+3+0+2+0+2+6) I pulled a 3 card read for today, asking the universe what we should expect for the end of this month. The Ace indicated a gift, a new chance to create stability for our basics of needs, and even real growth and prosperity. The King of Swords, who looks directly at us by the way (I don't believe any other card in this deck does so) is ready for action. A no nonsense approach to leadership he implores us to pay mind to this new opportunity. Notice the 2 birds behind him? We still have a choice; which will we take? Which choice will you make? The Queen of Swords knows sorrow and yet she is still able to think clearly and act in accordance with what "feels" right. You too are learned so trust in your "gut feelings" and what feels right in your heart The number 8 (as I mentioned above) signifies movement, the way forward. You cannot escape this as truly the only real guarantees in life are change (never mind the old saying of "death & taxes"). Today is not the same as yesterday and tomorrow will be different than today Face today with intention and be ready for new opportunity
