12 contributions to Level Up Life w/PrplJennifer
Welcome to the Party!
You’ve officially entered the PrplJennifer community - now what? Think of this as your home base for leveling up the "Real World" skills that school forgot to teach you. Whether you're here to figure out how to fry an egg without burning the house down, or you're trying to decode the mystery of credit scores, you’re in the right place. 📜 Your Quest Log: How to Get Started To move from a Level 1 Fledgling to a Level 2 Skill-Seeker, you need some XP (Experience Points). Here is your first quest: 1. Introduce Yourself: Post a quick "Hello" in the community. Tell us one skill you’re currently "grinding" to improve (like cooking, saving money, or time management). 2. Check the Map: Head over to the Classroom tab. That’s where your Skill Journeys (learning paths) and Quests (courses) are located. 3. Engage with the Party: Like and comment on other people’s posts. In this community, helping others is the fastest way to level up your own rank! 📈 The Ranking System As you contribute and learn, your rank will change. You’ll see your title evolve from Fledgling all the way up to Grand Architect. Every like you receive on a helpful post or comment earns you XP toward your next level. One final thing: There are no "noob" questions here. We are all walking our skill journeys together.

Feedback Request! Directional Shift!
Hi everyone! First, thank you for walking this journey with me and being patient while I get things all figured out. I'd love your feedback right now - I've changed the "theme" to appeal to a generation (or 2) of gamers and to hopefully make things more fun while still creating motivation to learn. If you have a minute - please explore the About page, the graphics, and the classroom. In the classroom, I have started to update the Setting Goals That Actually Work course (just the first lesson) to match the theme. I'd love to know if you find the theme fun, motivational, and understandable. Does it resonate with you whether you are a gamer or not? You can access the course quickly as a guest here: https://bit.ly/4aEB5vo Please share your feedback openly here or you can DM it to me if that makes you uncomfortable. There is no bad feedback. It will only help improve the experience here. Thank you in advance!
Self-Care Week: January Edition
January can be a challenging month. The holidays are over. Motivation is supposed to be high, but energy is often low. The days are short, routines are shifting, and many of us are already judging ourselves on our progress toward the goals we just set. So, let's make this week "Self-Care Week!" If you can relate to the sentiments above, it may be time to focus on energy conservation, not full-speed-ahead self-improvement. Instead of "doing more," consider: - Protecting your energy - Creating stability - Reducing decision fatigue How? Give yourself permission and pick ONE non-negotiable daily anchor. That could be - Waking up at the same time every day - Eating the same breakfast - Taking the same 5-minute walk - Following the same waking-up or winding-down routine Keep it intentionally boring and easily repeatable. And let that one thing be "enough" for a successful day. Don't be hard on yourself. Give yourself an easy win to celebrate. What will be your easy win?

@Mavette Carlson Listening to your body is SO important! And sometimes just... sitting with yourself and taking the time to rest and heal. I hope you're feeling better - I know how much the flu can take out of you, and for a LONG time!
Welcome Huzaifah!
Let's all welcome Huzaifah Naseer Naseer to the group. Please tell us a bit about yourself, take a look around, and let us know what you'd like to get from this group. We're still young and growing, so this is a great time to help shape the community!
