What Are You Struggling With?
Protect Your Personal Information
Protecting your personal information is job number one. Be ever vigilant when checking your email (phishing) or responding to phone calls (vishing).. The number of scammers out there are only increasing. In this video, I share a call that I received, and how I responded.

A Quick Reflection About Money
Financial responsibility isn't something that many of us were actually "taught," until it was too late. Some of us had to learn the hard way. Let's talk about that. Think back to a time when managing money felt confusing, overwhelming, or just plain hard, whether that was recently or when you were younger. 💜 Then share one thing you wish you'd known about money earlier in life (or even now, if it applies). 💜

I wish I'd known that needing help with money doesn't mean you're irresponsible or stupid - it usually means you were never taught. Money management is a learned skill.

@Ruth Richmond Ugh - SO MANY of us with that one!! Flagship content right there!
Welcome to Life Skills with PrplJennifer 👋
I'm PrplJennifer, and I'm really glad you're here. This space exists because so many of us were never clearly taught the everyday skills that make life feel manageable — things like handling money, setting up routines, navigating work, caring for ourselves, or figuring out “what comes next.” My background is in learning design and adult education, and my passion is breaking complicated, overwhelming topics into practical, usable skills you can apply in real life. This community is here to help you build confidence through knowledge — one skill at a time. Ask questions. Explore at your own pace. Take what’s useful and leave the rest. Above all, thank you for your patience as this community finds itself and grows to its full potential. Much more to come in the new year! My ask of you: Please take a moment to introduce yourself and share one life skill you wish you had learned earlier than you did - or a life skill you'd still like to learn.

@Tina Loose Ooh, that's a good one! Let's definitely talk about that!
5 New-Year-Ready AI Prompts
Here are 5 prompts to help you set smarter goals, avoid burnout, and actually follow through. CHALLENGE: Try one or more of these prompts. Then come back and share the results! - Here’s my New Year’s resolution: “[paste it].” Rewrite it so it's SMART - realistic, measurable, and something I’ll actually stick to. Then break it into weekly actions. - Here’s a goal I keep failing at: “[goal].” Diagnose why I quit every time and redesign the goal to work with my habits instead of against them. - Here are my priorities for 2026: [list]. Design a realistic weekly schedule that supports them without burning me out. - Based on the goals I didn’t finish last year, help me reset them without guilt. What should I keep, change, or let go of? - I want to focus on ONE goal this year: “[goal].” Build a simple system, tracking method, and weekly check-in question to help me stay consistent.

@Lasonja Phoenix Great goal! Did you get a weekly plan, too? (I don’t expect you to share that part.
