@Nick Guadagnoli Quizzes are important for me since I'm in the language learning niche and recalling information via quizzing is an important part of the learning process. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker. I can add quizzes using PDFs instead. A little more old school, but still effective. So quizzes would be a nice to have, but not a must-have.

Hi Sam and Team, I'd love to see Loom integration, in addition to YouTube and Vimeo. In my current FB community, both myself as admin and my students use loom daily. Although this may be niche specific, as my students do public speaking exercises as part of their curriculum. Thanks again to yourself and your amazing team for all your hard work and dedication! ~ Jennifer

Nicely done! Love the option to turn chat off, both at admin and member level. Great job team!

Hi Team, Already love Skool for communities, and now exploring the classroom feature. I love it so far, very user friendly. Suggestion 1: I got a little lost when I was in the classroom -> overview (on mobile), as there's no "back to course menu" or "go to next module" option. I suggest adding those (see screenshot). Suggestion 2: As I was clicking through the classroom, I only saw the "back to course menu" as I didn't press "mark as done". I thought that's how you progressed to the next lesson, by going back and clicking on the next one. And honestly, I was fine with that. And then I randomly clicked "mark as done" and then saw the "go to next module". I guess that's to encourage people to complete the lessons fully before moving on? Without thinking about it too much, I'd rather it be there all the time, not only if you click "mark as done". On desktop you can easily use the menu to progress without marking as done. Might as well have that option on mobile too. Suggestion 3: Since the community, course and calls are the 3 pillars of the hybrid model, I was wondering if it would make sense to have the calls as a menu option (see screenshot). I searched through comments and saw that Sam recommended having a separate section for these in the community. Ultimately I think that works, but I'm wondering if it would be more user friendly (or draw more attention to them) if it were on the menu? Just a thought for consideration! Overall, I love the classroom feature and I'm excited to migrate over from Thinkific in the near future!

@Nick Guadagnoli Thanks Nick. Regarding #3, yes, I'm talking about the Q+A Calls/events. I created a quick mock-up (see screenshot). There could be a separate menu icon, and in that icon you could see the call schedule on the left and the content on the right. Just a suggestion. I'm not 100% sold on it myself ;) In this post, Sam suggested using a category within the community for the Q+A recordings (see screenshot). And that will do the trick.

Will we have the ability to remove comment section on some modules? Eg. short overview video doesn't really need a comment section. Cheers

@Nick Guadagnoli I second this. I don't think it makes sense to have comments on absolutely everything. It would be nice to have the choice.

Would be a great feature for admins to be able to schedule posts. Thanks and keep up the great work! :)

This is where Skool users come together to suggest features, report bugs, and share feedback. We're co-creating Skool with our users (you). So when something frustrates you, seems confusing, broken, missing, or not right,ย tell us so we can fix it! What is Skool? Skool is a platform for creating "Learning communities". Think of them as Facebook groups, but better. No ads, distractions, self-promotion, privacy concerns, endless notifications, misinformation, and political drivel. Skool's got killer search, it's fast, fun, and optimized for learning. It's totally free, forever. How do you get started? 1. Create a Skool account by clicking the "Join Group" button. 2. Request membership for our groups: Consulting Accelerator and Skool Beta this. 3. Try the platform for yourself! Try posting something, commenting, voting, searching, etc. 4. Share your honest feedback here in this community! Let's build this thing together!

Huge thanks to Sam and his whole team for the countless hours of work that went into this. I'm blown away by this platform and very excited about the option to get off of distracting FB. The Consulting Team is always (miles) ahead of the game. Thanks again for your dedication and commitment to helping your students (and now even the general public!). You guys seriously rock!

1. 1-line of preview text in feed โ€” We used to show the title without any description in the feed, the problem was, people are bad at writing titles, and you have to click into the post to see what it means. Now we show you 1-line of preview text. (image 1). 2. Showing two replies by default โ€” We used to collapse replies to comments, the problem was, people didn't know they were there, and even if they did, it took more clicks to see the discussion. Now we show two replies by default. (image 2). 3. Differentiating comments from replies โ€” We used to use smaller user avatars for posts/comments/replies, the problem was, people couldn't tell the difference between comments and replies. We increased the size of the post/comment avatar and increased the indent of replies, so there's more visual hierarchy between these two elements. (image 3). Check out the changes and let us know if you prefer them?

Great update Sam and team! It makes the posts come to life more.

Want to pin a post to the top of a specific category? Now you can. When you pin a post we'll ask you if you want to pin it to the top of the category, or category + home. This feature is perfect if you want to write instructions for a category, something like: "How to use the use the Meetups category".

Imagine a category called "Announcements" or "Q&A call recordings". These categories contain posts by admins, but sometimes a member posts their own content in there by mistake. Not anymore! Now you can set posting permissions for categories. There's two basic options: 1. Anyone can post, anyone can view (default) 2. Admins can post, anyone can view Enjoy!
