I Need Your Advice: Help Me Build Our Next Step
Last night I sat down for a raw strategy session with Goose Dunlavey to pull apart my coaching offer and pricing. If you know me, you know I don't believe in generic "blueprints". I believe every business requires a specific action plan based on your unique skills and resources. Normally, my 1:1 coaching rate is £300 ($400) an hour. But I want to package my brain, my problem-solving, and my experience into an offer that actually fits our "Start a Business with No Money" ethos, while still giving you the high-level mentorship you need to break through your roadblocks. I originally had a plan to launch a $97 and $297 tier. But Goose told me that multiple offers can cut conversions in HALF (He knows Skool a lot better than me). He challenged me to drop the tiers entirely and offer a single, flat-rate $600/month mastermind strictly capped at 20 people to ensure that I am able and willing to deliver the best attention you deserve, so everyone gets massive results. Now, I'm torn... You are the Builders of this community, and you are the heartbeat of this clubhouse. I don't want to guess what you need, so I'm asking you directly. If you were to upgrade to get more direct help from me, which of these three models would you most likely sign up for, and why? These are just EXAMPLES of what the final offer/s could look like: (Please be brutally honest. I won't hold you to it, and nobody is pulling out a credit card today! I just genuinely value your opinion and want to create an offer that works for us all!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Option 1: The "Hot Seat" Group Tier ($97 / month) - The Vibe: Cheaper, larger group setting where you learn from others' challenges. - What you get: Weekly live focus group sessions where we do "Business Teardowns". You might get a quick 5-10 minute hot seat to let my ADHD-powered brain solve your immediate problem. Plus, you get full access to my paid Substack vault, the resource library, and a 20% discount if you ever want to book a 1:1 call with me.

@Adam McCollough Since you are asking for honesty, it is only worthless if that is your mindset. I don't listen to the mass amount of "experts" who have a fixed mindset around this. I have experienced the profound aspect of what it looks and feels like when people value things for free. For most people in the rooms I've been in with them, it was never about "free." Yet so many in the online space act as if that experience is wrong for the industry, and doesn't fit, or it simply does not exist. It does, and it can be absolutely beautiful, and life changing. For the 1% that came because it was free, they still valued it, they were literally hungry. A lot of things have been ingrained and on repeat for decades, but at what point do we pause, take a look around, a re-assess the situation live, with our own eyes. Things have changed. Quite frankly, there are people who do not want to work with people at a perceived "lower level" because they have been conditioned to believe it will impact their positioning and access to the opportunity pipeline. If that is the only reason they are doing what they are doing, it will, but I don't see you in that category. We talk about a lot, but one thing that isn't discussed is classism, and how industry standards no longer fit today's real world needs, including spending and energy habits. They aren't what they used to be, and unless one stays in the same pool until it ultimately dries up because they are too conditioned to get out of it, it's become almost like living in the Truman Show of online coaching, until you find the way out. Do you want to offer something for $600 or are you stuck because of who told you to do it? I genuinely love Goose, not trying to knock him personally, but I know what it's like to be torn based on who gave the advice. 🪿💚 You could do a mix of all three, and open up a specific time of the month where you make the $97 offer available. This way, you could level up and not give up on your original vision, and lessen the gaps. Also, do you really want the vibe of that offer to be "Cheap." If I am buying time with you, I don't consider you, cheap, in any capacity. Language is important, it is also energy!

@Adam McCollough Being able to offer people help that is 100% free is actually a privildege. I want to recognize that, and while I am grateful that I can do that, because of a few different reasons, and when what is working against me, becomes something that is for me -- I fully support people getting paid for their work. I love the idea of having a few different options, maybe you could set up tiers like an a la carte menu and have people be able to choose, and use the results of that over the next few months to really hone what is working and what isn't. Either way, I look forward to seeing what shapes up for you!

@Adam McCollough Thank you!
We won the BLITZ!
... And well done too to my super worthy competitors and friends up on the podium with me @David Ashby & @Donny Baker. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁? I did say that if we won I would show you how - well, there's a small but brilliant cheat code here. Just tell a friend or two about Wingman, and when they realise how brilliant and awesome it is, and wonder how they ever Skooled without it, you get a massive amount of points! 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗶𝗽 The power combo - Combine it with The Free Skool Extension to give your skool superpowers! And, to WIN a 1:1 with @Goose Dunlavey to plan my next strategy, it would have been worth signing myself up several times to win that!

Woo hoo! Congratulations @Adam McCollough
Would you rather..?
Would you rather have: More Time? or More Money? (Obviously both is the dream, but let's pretend it's not an option for the sake of this thought experiment) I'm pretty sure most people would vote for more time, but looking around, it appears that everyone is so busy running around chasing the money! (so maybe I'm wrong?) Take a few days off, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. You won’t regret it. 🌞 Have a GREAT weekend.

I want more time, and while I can't make more time, making more money can also come with a cost of precious time gone before you have a chance to look up. In the blink of an eye, it seems like ten years can go by quick. Optimization and balance are important!

@Adam McCollough me neither. I don't want to be wishing I spent more time outside listening to the birds instead of stuck to my computer. Don't get me wrong, I love helping people, but nurturing my soul needs to be more prioritized I think. Your posts remind me of that, it's one of the reasons I enjoy them so much. I'm 43, and surely not getting any younger! In a blink, time flies these days...
Day of clearing the pond - Week 3..!
Well, it wouldn't feel like the end of a Sunday if I didn't give you an update of the progress of this pond! So on Saturday all of this pond debris was still saturated and alive despite being left out in the heatwave for nearly 3 weeks so I spread it all over the Garden on a massive tarpaulin. And then on Saturday night it rained! 😂 I need it to be dead before throwing it in the woods or it will spread all down the stream and then the environmental agency will be on to me..! So I was digging away under the tree where it's at 30 years of dropping pine needles I've shifted about a dozen borrow loads of soil away from below it... The tree is completely de-limbed and scattered around various parts of the garden waiting to be made into logs or wood chip to use around the vegetable garden. I have no idea what to do with the stump. It's massive. I don't have a stump grinder and I quite enjoy a challenge so I'll probably carry on digging away below it, stick the chainsaw in around the bottom and maybe just light a fire below it next weekend. I've cleared the waterfall feature and ordered some epoxy putty to pop in where the motor has dried and shrunk. That will keep it nice and watertight so we won't lose any water when it's running. The main pond is now full of water and the duckweed is pretty much under control in the lower pond. None of the lights work so they've come into be repaired also. One of the sets had had an arguement with the lawn mower by the look of it as the wires have been chopped to pieces. I cleared away where there used to be an automatic filling thing which had broken But I noticed it was dripping at quite a rate and so was the outside tap above it. So I've repaired both of these too, which should should reduce the water bill and save precious water! I think now it probably looks the worst it's going to get and now things should start coming together. I've got my eye on a cherry laurel I spotted in the woods When I was thinning things out to give more light to my weeping willow in the week to dig up and put in place of the fir tree which will be a lot easier to maintain.
