My client’s tend to be local in the Washington DC area. I’ve expanded a bit last year across the country. And this past week, I connected with my first client outside of the U.S. 😮 I didn’t even think about this until earlier today when planning my client meetings for next week. And then a WOW moment hit me. We met through mutual communities and then connected in our own communities and it took off from there. If you just started your community - keep going, keep growing but connecting with cool people. It’s not about how many memberships you have, it’s about the quality folks you connect with given your niche and interests!

Just wanted to share a small moment from last week that reminded me why community matters. I’d been a bit stuck in my own head and ended up chatting with someone I met through Skool. We’re on a similar path, and he said, “Give me your number, let’s have a chat.” We jumped on the phone for about 30 minutes. A few laughs, some honest conversation, and that feeling of being understood by someone who’s been in similar situations. I walked away feeling lighter. It was a good reminder of two things: • Talking things out beats carrying them alone • Being in the right community makes those conversations possible What I appreciate about Skool is how easy it is to connect. No algorithms, no noise, just real people, easy to reach, and open to conversation. I genuinely don’t think that connection would’ve happened elsewhere.
