Let me tell you a story . . .
Back in February on 2023 (about 5 months after being laid off from my last full-time job), I saw this guy on another platform educating people about the same thing that probably brought you to this group. Before I even knew the term Synthesizing, I realized I could take what I learned from him, apply it, get results and eventually offer those results to others. But I noticed a fascinating phenomenon being part of that group with over 400 members. Taking suggested action was RARE. One thing I promised myself was "if you are going to invest in this thing and spend your dwindling savings, you will do EVERYTHING this guy suggests. You won't second guess it or procrastinate on following this advice." Homework assignments were simple. They were basic like “start your community, create a business bank account, develop your offer, etc.” We were encouraged to share our progress in the group. Very few people did the work, shared their progress or took advantage of connection opportunities. The same 11 out of 400 people always showed up. There were infrequent new people and they all dropped off along the way - wasting what seemed to me like 6-figure ideas. But the truly remarkable thing is only 7 in that entire group took consistent action and had the patience to let it pay off. Those people that I proudly call friends today @Jenna Ostrye @Bijan Izadi @Kevin Suarez Sabugo@Marianne Suarez Sabugo @Mike Hicks all have successful Skool groups today and are thriving in this business model. I apologize if I missed anyone from that OG group. The point is only the minority actually do the work, but consistently over a long enough period of time, it always pays off.

You know the saying “if it was easy, then everyone would do it”.. it doesn’t mean that the work is “hard”. It’s the consistency & persistence of doing even the small things that matter that feels hard. Too many are in the easy Amazon Prime “I want it now” mindset.
Kudos & Shoutout Time 🎊
I have to call out 2 of our members who are really making moves. I’m doing a video about this soon, but keywords, the title of your group, and the About Page copy will be vitally important to pay attention to in 2025 and beyond. @Crystal Bedford and @Raymond Gonzalez Ingles are ranking and planting their flag because they are working hard to make their communities valuable. Crystal is #1 for the search term Agoraphobia. Ray is #47 overall in a HUGE category. The overall ranking in the category is one thing but the keywords around the community will be even more crucial as SEO for Skool continues to improve. Congratulate both of them below ⬇️

Those look like fun communities!
Big News 🎉🎉
Some of you know that I encouraged you to apply for the Skool Cohort like I did. A post went out today in Skool Games today that said the selections were made and those chosen would receive a special email from @Andrew Kirby. Well, I was selected. 😱 I’m still in shock. I’ll keep you updated on everything I learn. This means you won’t want to miss our upcoming Zooms because the advice and tactics will becoming directly from Alex Hormozi himself. It all still seems so unreal. Stay tuned!

Thanks to @Vic Martinez for asking this question. I know others have it as well so here's what I believe is the best answer.

Your about page is so important! Just tagged you in a post on Skool community & games, because I found that you are the only one that shows up for GenX with no spaces. Pretty cool!

@Chuck Ellis I think it looks cooler that way, and I'm not sure if there is a right or wrong way to it! 😅 I think it would possibly only matter if something like TikTok or another platform is being picky. It was shocking to realize this is a way to really get seen.
