Trust that the strength you’re building in this pause is setting you up to shine when it’s time — your body will be ready when it’s ready. The hardest kind of Showing Up
Hey team 💛 Yesterday I had to make a tough call and cancel our live class. I can’t even tell you how hard that was for me — showing up for my people is something I take seriously. When I can’t, it hits deep. But this is one of those moments where the lesson becomes the message. Sometimes, showing up for yourself is the real work. The truth is, my body hit a wall — migraines, vertigo, all the things — and it’s asking me to slow the train down for a few weeks so I can get back to being the coach, creator, and firecracker you know me to be. I’ll be taking about three weeks to rest, reset, and treat what’s going on — but don’t worry, you’re not being left hanging. I’ll be posting some fresh content and light movement pieces for you to follow while I recover. If there’s one thing I want you to take from this, it’s that self-respect sometimes looks like stillness. That’s not quitting. That’s precision. 💫 Thanks for being here, for your understanding, and for being part of this tribe that truly gets it. @Ruth Cercel I had a concussion 10 Mths ago and migraine is my life since . The vertigo though oh my word I knew if I’d tried to do it I’d have fallen live on camera and that scared me for me and my audience . So I opted the safer option which was to tap but it broke my heart to do so. Yeah it seems many people are suffering migraines in the last week. Assuming it’s barometric pressure as the trigger . I’ve had many but yesterdays landed me in the ER with a bunch of meds because I was suffering neurologically . So glad they were able to help take the edge off the pain and now the vertigo well that’s going to be a few weeks but I’ll deal with that. Grateful to be feeling better today that’s for sure . Take care of you and I hope to be my silly spunky self and show up for you all when I feel a little more steady . Hugs 🤍
