5 contributions to AI Marketing
Build your systems before you need them
Most businesses don't. When things are slow, there's no urgency. When they're busy, there's no time. So systems get built in the middle of the chaos. Often rushed, incomplete, and hard to scale. The businesses that grow sustainably build ahead of demand. They document processes, hire before the bottlenecks, and put the right systems in place before growth arrives. It may feel unnecessary at first, but when things take off, preparation becomes your biggest advantage. What system in your business have you been putting off? 🤓
Intro
Hi all 👋Jem here. I run an operations/VA placement business working mostly with ecommerce founders. Joined to learn from how this community thinks about AI marketing and trade notes. Looking forward to it. 🤓

@Ray Merlin Hello
Something I keep noticing across different businesses
I’ll look at a business and everything seems fine at first, calls are coming in, leads are there, people are working. Nothing looks obviously broken. But then you start asking simple questions like: what happens after a missed call? or who follows up when a lead replies late? and the answers are usually… unclear. It’s not that people don’t care. Most teams are actually trying their best. It’s just that a lot of these small steps live in people’s heads instead of in a system. So things depend on timing, memory, or who happens to be available. And that’s where things quietly slow down. Not in one big moment, but in a hundred small ones that don’t feel urgent on their own. What’s interesting is, fixing just one of those gaps can change how everything feels, suddenly things move a bit faster, there’s less back-and-forth, less guessing. I’m starting to think most growth issues are really just unclear “what happens next” moments. where do you find yourself or your team asking “who’s handling this?” more than you’d like?

This resonates. From what I've seen running a VA agency, the most successful founders don't just focus on the big wins—they pay close attention to these critical operational steps. It's usually the small, unclear handoffs that quietly slow everything down over time. AI can definitely help automate parts of the process, but it still takes intentional systems and the right people to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Those "Who's handling this?" moments may seem minor, but they often become the bottlenecks that limit growth. It's amazing how much momentum a business can gain by simply making the next step clear every single time.
How many of you create content on social media?
I do...🙌 But the real question is: how many of you are able to keep up with it? Are you consistent with: - Posting daily (or 2-3x/week) - Remembering trends - Extracting audios that go viral Hooks, pitches, flow, editing, font, and the list goes on.... It's really hard to keep up with everything, all at once, without assistance. ADHD becomes a cherry on top in this stack... I automated my social media accounts completely. The system fetches viral content and creates videos for my channel by itself. Just wanted to know how you guys are keeping up. What platform has been working for you lately?🙌

This is really interesting. AI has become a huge help for content creation, especially for repurposing ideas and staying consistent. I still think there's value in having the right human support behind the scenes, though. Running a VA agency has shown me that the best results usually come from combining AI with people who can handle the tasks that still need judgment, creativity, and relationship-building. Curious—what tools are you using to fetch the viral content and generate the videos?
A small win...
Not gonna lie… my first online sale changed everything for me. I started e-commerce with no experience, no connections, and honestly no clue what I was doing 😭 Spent months overthinking, switching strategies, and getting nowhere. What changed? I stopped quitting too early and finally learned how marketing actually works. Now doing consistent 5 figures and the biggest lesson I learned is this. Most people are closer than they think… they just give up too soon. Who else here is trying to build income online?

Inspiring post @Zion Pedri pushing through really pays off. Then the good problem arise. "Sales so high, I struggle to keep up" Once you're o this point, reach out to me and I will certainly help you 🙂
