Today's Coffee Break was a Part- aye!

Appreciate you Jungle Mamas! Can't wait to meet more of you this week at the Jungle Campfire Thursday evenings at 8 pm Central time. Comment below and give us the bullet point take aways that stand out to you.

@Jenn Locklear sad I missed it. I need more notes on some of these items. They sound great.

The 3-Day Tame the Chaos Challenge Begins!”
🦁 Alright, Jungle Mamas — it’s time to TAME THE CHAOS. This isn’t about cleaning every corner or color-coding the pantry (though, bonus points if you do). It’s about taking back command of your space — mentally and physically — one intentional move at a time. Over the next 3 days, we’ll strip the noise, wrangle the overwhelm, and get your head back in the driver’s seat. 🧭 Today’s Mission: Pick one chaotic zone — a surface, a system, a schedule — and face it head-on.Don’t overthink it. Just choose one thing you’ll bring back under your rule. Then tell us below 👇 ➤ What’s your chaos zone? ➤ What’s your first move to tame it? Let’s turn the jungle roar into a rhythm.Welcome to Day 1. Let’s go. 💪

I bought some bins to tame my pants on my closet shelf. I haven’t taken them out of the car yet, but I will!
Grocery Stores
I know we all live in different parts of the country and it got me wondering: Where do you shop for groceries the most? My go-to is Aldi and then what I can’t find there I grab at Kroger. Anyone else a big Aldi fan?

I do Costco (only 5 min away from me) and Walmart delivery.
🌿 Afternoon Jungle Thought
One of my favorite things about one-on-one time with my kids is how it lets them see me in a different light. Not just “mom with a to-do list,” but a person they can laugh with, hang out with, and one day—be friends with. I think of it like a cord we’re weaving across the years. Every coffee date, errand run, or quiet walk together adds another strand. And when they leave home, that cord is strong enough to hold us close. What about you? 🌱 Do you remember the first time your kids saw you outside the Mom Role? Were they startled, surprised, or maybe even laughed at the idea of you just being… you? Drop your story below—I want to hear it. 💬✨

I’ve never felt super connected to my oldest (17), but today before he hung up after I said “I love you,” he actually said, “I love you too”! Super big win in my book.

Emily mentioned she calls today Water Wednesday 💧 — a reminder to stay hydrated. I use Wednesdays as my outing day — errands, groceries, co-op, all bundled together so it doesn’t hang over my head the rest of the week. It got me thinking… do you give your days “jobs” too? 👉 Meal prep Mondays? 👉 Laundry Fridays? 👉 Self-care Sundays? Assigning tasks to certain days can keep the mental load lighter and free up space for the things that matter most. ✨ What day in your week already has a “theme,” or what day would you like to give one?

I’ve assigned specific chores to days of the week for my kids (M-bathrooms, T-dusting,etc), but I don’t really have days. I am NOT a routine kind of gal. I like to fly by the seat of my pants and do whatever I think should get done. It’s a really bad system.

@Jenn Locklear They get it done. They like that it is a known thing each day. Of course they’d rather just sit in front of a screen! I should be better at checking their work and showing them how to do it correctly, but at least it’s getting done.
