I’m so terrible about posting the work I’ve done on my Socials. It’s hard to keep up with these young guns out there. The rate at which young tattooers are getting good is crazy fast compared to how it used to be. Some of these kids are incredible.

Drybrush
Here is a drybrush oil painting that’s in progress that I was working on! Any feedback or opinions are greatly appreciated!

@Natascha Hoffmann hahah I hear you! I actually just dedicate those brushes for that technique. It’s actually really easy to clean them also because they are never fully loaded..Imagine it like doing charcoal but with a very small amount of oil paint instead, if that makes any sense. The way you get highlights is to use a fine tip eraser. It just picks the small amount of oil paint up off of the canvas board. 👌🏼

@Natascha Hoffmann no I have never cleaned my brushes after a dry brush project. The only brushes that get loaded with a lot of paint is the small “liner” brushes, so I guess you could clean those if you’d like, but they’re so cheap, I usually use a new one every painting I do.
