One World Tarot
This is my latest discovery and I'm loving it's modern approach in design. The pictures stay very close to the Rider Waite themes so I find it very easy to read. It fits very nicely in to the palm of my hand as well. (Some decks feel a bit big for smaller hands, making shuffling a little more difficult) I would definitely recommend this deck if you have yet to own your own

Nice, I appreciate the recommendation.
Simple Step to Learn a Card
Anyone can learn to read Tarot cards, literally anyone. And the simplest way to start is NOT by memorizing what your decks book says about a card but simply by saying/writing down what you SEE Take a look at this Queen of Cups from the Rider Waite deck. Here is what I see: - Green background - Elaborate cup held in her right hand (gloved) - Flowing water under her feet (wavy black & green material?) - She is wearing a long white garment - She is wearing a white and green cape - Elaborate crown on her head - 2 cherubs on the back of her thrown; a third cherub on the side of the thrown - Yellow ? hills/mound behind her thrown - Red flowers on the ground And that is the easiest way to start, simply saying what you see. And then an easy second step is simply to write down, in a word or two, how this card makes you feel I learned thus when I was taking a digital course written by John Edward (Medium). It is the easiest and best first step to get to know the Tarot, one card at a time. Seems simple and yet you will surprised by what you discover First small steps will eventually lead to a better understanding So, a weekend project for you?

I was just in a challenge that did much the same and I was astonished how much symbolism was intentional and in each card

Oracle Cards vs Tarot Cards
What is the difference between Oracle cards and Tarot cards? You can use either for doing readings, or both together if you wish, but there are some basic differences you should know 1 - A Tarot deck (traditional and usual) has 72 cards. An Oracle card deck has less, anywhere from 36 - 65 2 - Tarot cards focus on physical life, both the major occurrences (birth, education, work, health, etc) whereas Oracle cards help you focus more on the spiritual aspects of your life When used together during a reading you can get a truly indepth look in to past, present, and future circumstances These are two of my favorites ❤️ Do you have a favorite Oracle card deck?

I have seen wisdom of the oracle mentioned now by several people, are the graphics so good that you can read it relatively intuitively, or is the guidebook needed in the beginning

@Wendy Getchell of course of course, everyone is different. I like oracle of the shaman deck because even without the guide book, the pictures evoke certain thoughts and feelings. The guidebook adds additional levels, and what the artist was thinking. Some oracle cards I feel like I really need to read the guide book to see what they are trying to get across

In my most recent Tarot card studies i have really begun to notice how intentional the colors are. Its making me think more as an artist as well.
