Hey there, and welcome! I’m Jeff, and I’m here to help you take your guitar playing to the next level—whether you’re just starting out, looking to level up your technique, or want to understand music in a way that actually sticks. Here’s what you can expect in this community: - Lessons that make sense: No fluff, no filler—just clear explanations that get you playing faster. - Practical tips: Learn things you can use immediately on your own guitar. - Supportive community: Ask questions, share progress, and connect with fellow guitarists. - Fun along the way: Guitar should be exciting, not intimidating. Take a moment to introduce yourself! Let us know your name, your experience level, and what you hope to get out of this group. I’ll be dropping lessons, tips, and challenges regularly, so stay tuned and get ready to play. Let’s make some music together! 🎶 — Jeff

@Lonnie Jaco Hey man, long time no see! I've still got a recording of a song we tracked back at the studio in like 2009! How you been? You got a few levels of guitar playing. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert. The goal of this set of lessons is to move players from being stuck in the Intermediate range into Advanced playing techniques. I consider an intermediate player as a player who knows a fair amount of chords, at least 1 Major Scale, 1 Minor Scale and the Blues Scale and can somewhat noodle in key comfortably over most songs. Technique should be relatively tight, with both hands synced together pretty well. They should be able to play several of their favorite songs with ease and know a few guitar solos verbatim. These are the types of players that will learn a lot from this course and break into the advanced playing. If you already know chord theory, how chords are made, all your diatonic modes and chord progressions that work with those modes and you can play and write in the harmonic minor scale then this class may be a little behind you. I figure even those players will still have something to learn but ya never know.
