I found a Reddit post about Skool... and I had to reply
I think I can try to shed some light. Skool is seen from everyone, and marketed as a way to get finacial freedom. If you have suybscribed for free to some courses is because there is a thing "freemium" or something like that, that allows users (Skoolers) to see the courses that are free and upgrade to more indepth courses that are here (not forced down your throat), for you to get more value, or maybe the free courses are good enough for you to just kickstart what your goals are. Now. Yes, I am on Skool, and I can tell you that this is a massive amount of work. You have to engage with the community, and find a way to get people on your community (free courses), and engage on a constant basis (exausting), then... (when that "when" is I have no clue), comes the time to get cracking on paid; where you add more value for the "bucks" that you could potentially get. It's a full time job, it's tough and Skool does not come cheap. So if you are clueless on how to engage with people; if you have no clue how to grow a community; if you don't know how to attract paying Skoolers, no matter your skills, the road to "financial freedom" is so steep and so long that you might quit before the time comes. I am in that category, no matter what I do, nothing seems to move. Nothing at all. I'm talking about feeling the break of inertia, nope, just crickets in the distance (yes, not even the crickets are close to my courses). Conclusion: For me (my honest opinion), no, Skool is not a scam or some crooked way to get some bucks from someone, it's something very expensive and very tough to get going, but for the ones that have a successfull community, it seems that financial freedome from the 9-to-5 seems to work. Me? No not even my family replied to the invite LMAO. Hope this helps! Now what is your honest take on Skool?
