šŸ”„ Day 1 — You’re Sitting on a Book (Whether You Realize It or Not)
Let’s be real for a second šŸ‘‡ If people already ask you questions about what you know… you’re already sitting on a book. You don’t need permission. You don’t need credentials. You need extraction šŸ§ āž”ļøšŸ“˜ This works whether: • This is your FIRST ebook • Or you already sell something and want more cashflow šŸ‘‰ Action: Drop ONE thing people already ask you about in the comments šŸ‘‡

@Terrance Gee For me, it’s usually how to turn knowledge into a clear, structured outcome, not just information, but a result someone can actually apply. Curious, when people here get asked the same question over and over, what usually stops them from turning it into a book?

@Terrance Gee That’s such a strong point. Waiting for ā€œcompleteā€ is usually just fear dressed up as preparation. Most impactful books don’t solve everything, they solve one clear step really well. I like how you framed it as a conversation starter. That takes the pressure off perfection and puts the focus back on helping. Curious, do you think people struggle more with perfectionism… or with not knowing how to structure what they already know?
Why Most eBooks Don’t Make Money
Most people don’t fail at eBooks because they can’t write. They fail because they write what they like — not what people are searching for. I did the same at first. Sales improved when I started checking: • What problem are people trying to solve?• What topics are already selling? Publishing is easy .Selling depends on demand. Question :Are you checking demand before writing your next eBook?

@Mark Charles This is a great point, and very true. Writing skill alone doesn’t guarantee sales; alignment with real market demand does. Identifying clear problems, validating interest, and studying what’s already working makes a huge difference. Publishing may be easy, but selling is strategic. Thanks for highlighting this, it’s a reminder every author needs before starting their next eBook.

@Mark Charles Absolutely. Demand research is the real differentiator. Writing becomes far more effective when it’s problem-driven instead of preference-driven. Once you understand who you’re writing for and what they’re actively searching for, the book almost outlines itself. Publishing is accessible now, but income follows strategy, not guesses.
Seeking Advice
Hey friends I need your advice. ā¤ļøI’ve been writing romance for a while now, and I truly love the genre but lately I’ve been feeling pulled toward exploring a new genre. I’m excited about growing as a writer, but I also don’t want to disappoint the readers who love my romance stories. So tell me honestly would you follow me into a new genre? And what genres would you love to see me try next? Your thoughts really matter to me

@Mark Charles That’s a great question. I think the key is intentional transition, not a sudden shift. Carrying your audience means communicating early, testing with crossover content, and staying consistent with the emotional core that drew readers in the first place. When voice, clarity, and audience expectations are aligned, genre becomes more flexible. Strategy doesn’t replace creativity, it supports it.
