Hi, I’m 63 y/old in Round Rock Texas just north of state capital Austin. I retired 3 years ago after 34+ years as global supply chain business manager. After which, I took classes and tests to earn my Texas Real Estate License in 2023. I plan to keep my toes wet in that area lightly. Lastly, I do a side job for my best friend where she is office manager for a law office. I perform some of the billing. Between real estate and billing I manage to pay my way without using my retirement money and I have not signed up to get social security - holding off on that as long as possible. I need this side hustle to have money for travels and home improvements, and we could use a new vehicle. I currently have Facebook and TikTok. Just downwload Instagram and Threads. Not sure what else I need. Also not sure how I set these up for earning money. Do I set up a new Facebook with a different name so I can block all of my friends and family? I need these very basic beginner support. If I can stay interested in this, then I have a ton of free time to devote. I just need someone to brag my hand and show me how all this works. Baby steps 10/10. I need to figure out how to find my niche or topic to drive income and the set-by-step knowledge for how to make this happen!

TikTok Shop income
I made a grand total of $50.01 all of 2025 but in January alone I’ve made $107.09 on TikTok Shop! It’s very motivating to see the change in my first little income stream. I’m still 90% UGC but this is really great.
