CANCER SUXS!
This is very personal for me to share. Not to mention my hubby would not be happy about it either, but I feel it is important. Almost two weeks ago(it all started months ago) BUT…. My hubby was diagnosed with cancer. He is now in the second hospital admissions (via ambulance) due to extreme symptoms and now being very sick. They haven’t given him a definitive diagnosis, prognosis or anything due to how fast this hit him and all the testing that he has had to undergo. Never a smoker, or any kind of drug abuse. but a food congruous. He was very healthy and fit, but he has what I call benders disease… ummm almost every time he bent his elbow his mouth would open! Before he knew he was sick, he started having pains and attributed them to possibly over exercising. He lost 40 pounds in 5 to 6 weeks unintentionally. He didn’t need to lose. This is real and this is horrible. . His life habits all have to change. No more food monster and no more alcohol, even in extreme moderation. From never sick or in the hospital (except for a broken leg in the military and an eye injury playing high school football). I am asking for prayer for him. Please. God knows our needs. Thank you all.🙏🏼💝

Tirz back to Sem
Has anyone went back to Sem after switching to Tirz with success?

Just an update, I went back to Sem after having side effects from tirz. I wasn’t sure how to dose so I started over, it wasn’t enough so this week I’ve been micro dosing every other day at start dose. No side effects and finally feeling good again.

I’m doing .5 mg two times a week of sem. So far so good. I haven’t needed to increase yet.

Welcome!
Oral glp1
My 80 year old mother would like to try glp1 and is afraid of the shots. Kristina, do you know of any good oral options?
Side effect
Light headed after less then 2.0 of Tirz, is that normal?

I’m having that side effect too, not all the time but occasionally. I’m just went from 2.5 to 3.5. I think I’m going to back it down and inject every 4 or 5 days and see if that works better. If not, I’m thinking of going back to sem or trying Reta but I have a few vials of tirz and at this low dose it’ll last a few months I’d hate to waste it.

I was thinking it’s probably a blood sugar issue, I have a hard time eating anything at all so I focus on protein.
