Have you heard of the "Code Red" and ChatGPT
I call it the upgrade tax. You can feel it before every big announcement, the tool gets a bit slow, a bit buggy, things are not broke... but not right. I'm already starting to see it as I work in my favorite local coffee shop this morning. Well, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, issued an internal code red because rival systems like Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude are rapidly closing the quality gap and, in some benchmarks, surpassing ChatGPT. In response, OpenAI is shifting people and priorities to a companywide sprint to make ChatGPT faster, more reliable, and more personalized, while even delaying other product launches and ad plans with the promise of rolling out ChatGPT 5.2 on TUESDAY. Yes, in just a few days... For me personally, I would prefer they take a bit more time and ensure everything is working... Right? And I'm not alone. X(twitter) is blowing up with the gossip. While I'm not usually an alarmist... this makes me nervous and so I'm making a plan. My clients deserve to understand what is happening and need a plan to keep things moving. Here's what I am doing to prepare: 1. Choose a number 2 platform if ChatGPT is your go to. Most people choose Claude or Gemini. For me I have a workspace account in Google, so I will be using Gemini. 2. Make an announcement to all my CustomGPT customers just letting them know that any issues with the GPTs will be temporary. I will be moving my most popular ones into my pickaxe account to keep everything up and running if things go bad. (Not an absolute must, but its been on my to do list, so lets go!) 3. If you are a tool creator, have a plan. What does this mean? So if you are selling on pickaxe (or another builder platform), test a backup platform. This is a great practice anyway since they all go down from time to time. If one goes down you will always know your plan. (And another big pro of building on Pickaxe! The option to change models if one goes down.) I am excited to see what they bring and nervous about the rush. And overall I'm hearing great things about this upgrade.

@AI Advantage Team Thank you so much for your kind words. I feel good. I'm ahead of it. I thought others might want to be too. :) I have a plan for my clients. They know its coming. They know how to keep their tools working without waiting on me (although I'm happy to help), they are happy to know. It's harder when you don't get this notice. I'm liking this honestly. They might be rushed, but they've bought me time with all the hoopla to make a solid plan.
Turkey Fun! πŸ¦ƒ
Okay are you ready to have a bit of fun? Create a turkey based ONLY on your title. For me I choose AI consultant. How accurate is it? 🀣 Step 1: Copy and paste the prompt below into a new chat Step 2: Replace the _____ with your title (ie, copywriter, ultra runner, health enthusiast, nurse, teacher, etc.) Step 3: Hit send and get an amazing prompt for an image Step 4: Tell ChatGPT to generate the image. Step 5: Share below! πŸ‘‰PROMPT: Input{PERSON_TITLE}= ________ You are an expert cartoon art director and comedy writer. Write a single, copy-pasteable image generation prompt for a bright, funny 2D cartoon. The character is a {PERSON_TITLE} reimagined as a hilarious turkey. Make it as vivid, specific, and packed with visual jokes as the best example of this style. Requirements - Make the turkey embody quirky stereotypes of the {PERSON_TITLE} role in a playful, non-mean way. - Put the turkey in an exaggerated real-world scenario that the role would recognize instantly. - Add at least 8 tiny visual gags tied to the role, such as props, labels, charts, badges, sticky notes, tools, or background characters. - Include funny on-screen text in the scene like slide titles, whiteboard scribbles, or note-labels that riff on the role’s habits, buzzwords, or common promises. - Describe the turkey’s outfit and accessories to reflect the role, with at least 4 specific items. - Give the turkey a strong comedic expression and body language that matches the role’s vibe. - Add 1 side character reacting in a way that heightens the humor. - Specify a clean, colorful, high-energy 2D cartoon style with crisp outlines, exaggerated faces, playful lighting, warm fall tones plus unexpected accent colors that fit the role. - Output only the final image prompt, no headings, no commentary, no extra options, no lists. Remember I only want the prompt. Not the image...yet.

Coursiv
I am involved in a program, paid for, Coursiv, and am wondering if there is anything better to start my luxury travel business from Italy, as well as language immersion courses. Retention is usually lost the moment someone stops speaking their learned language with another person. I’m searching to bridge this gap, for both Italians and Native English speaking individuals.

ChatGPT 5.1 just did the impossible for me. No em dashes.
ChatGPT 5.1 is here and the very first thing I tested was this: β€œNo em dashes.” And it actually listened!!! I am not exaggerating. This alone is historic. πŸ₯³ I laughed out loud because I have begged previous versions to behave like this and they simply refused. So yes. We are celebrating. Why this matters 5.1 follows directions better. Way better. It sticks to your rules. It keeps your tone. It understands nuance. You can give it boundaries and it actually respects them. The whole thing feels steadier and more reliable which makes it easier to trust your own creative flow while you work with it. It also claims that it stays with you in a conversation instead of drifting off. If you give half formed thoughts or jump around, it keeps up. If you change your mind mid sentence, it adapts. If you say β€œnot like that try again but keep the same vibe,” it hits it almost every time. I can't wait to test this today!!! What to try Here are a few fun ways to see the new behavior without turning it into a science experiment. Idea One Give it a rule. A funny one. A picky one. A specific one. Something like β€œWrite this for me, no em dashes, no drama, keep the energy warm not shouty.” Watch how well it honors the whole list. Idea Two Give it your natural messy brain. Type something like β€œHere is my half baked idea. Do not fix my personality. Just help me turn this into something my clients will understand.” See how it organizes without flattening your voice. Idea Three Ask it to explain your own idea back to you. This is shockingly useful. Say β€œTell me what I just said in a way that makes sense so I know if I’m thinking clearly.” The clarity jump is wild. Idea Four Tell it how you want to feel while doing a task. Try β€œHelp me write this without getting overwhelmed. Break it into tiny steps so I can stay calm and keep going.” This version is very good at pace and emotional tone. The overall vibe The claim: 5.1 makes everything smoother. It listens better. It follows directions better. It respects your quirks and your preferences which means you can work faster without sacrificing your voice.

@Mj Raj You might try BigVu or Canvas new video creator. Not knowing if you want your face or the purpose or how long makes it difficult to help. :) I am not a video expert, I am more of a prompting and automation expert. Custom tools like custom GPTs and such.

@Nikki K Totally agree. I’m excited to work with it today after being out yesterday.
ChatGPT Master Prompt πŸ€– Have you done yours?
This is something I learned from watching a Dan Martell video and it has made a HUGE difference to the responses I get from ChatGPT. Liken this to asking a complete stranger for some advice OR someone who REALLY knows you; that's the difference it makes. You just need one hour, use the voice mode, tell ChatGPT you are wanting to create your Master Prompt so that it knows you so much better and so that you can work better together and then ask it to interview you, asking everything it needs to know about you, your life, your business (basically everything you're happy to share). When you're done, simply ask it to prepare your Master prompt. This you can then ask it to create a PDF which you can then drop into ChatGPT when you use it OR (better still) copy and paste it into the Chat GPT Preferences πŸ‘

Yes! This can make the difference in everything that is created going forward! A few things you might want to tell it to include - Goals - Work style - Stories - Even software you use - This one is huge. It can suggest solutions using your current software when you ask for help or a suggestion. This alone has saved me hours with hidden features I did not even know existed in my current software stack.
