The problem with AI video generation right now
Hi guys, I just wanted to quickly talk about something I see a lot at the moment and is really counter intuitive in my opinion: With AI content, you see so many "extreme" examples that don't have any real world application to regular businesses if you are not an artist. Crazy scifi videos or fantasy effects might look cool, but rarely are actually useful in business/marketing application. It looks VERY similar to the AI agent hype, where everybody talks about implementing AI bots in businesses for automation, but only very few are actually useful. That's why AI avatar generation tools are, at least at the moment & if you know how to use them (check out the course section ;), more powerful compared to generating videos from scratch alone (ideally you combine both), because they actually look life like if done right. If you go on Instagram for example, you see so many memes or "slop" made with Sora, that is funny, but again, doesn't really serve a purpose. I think when the first model comes out that lets you generate hyper realistic videos of people talking consistently, in high quality, and longer than 8-10 seconds (like 30-90), then things will get crazy. Just some thoughts, but keep in my mind this can change quickly. Let me know what you think! :) Cheers Tobias
