I Released 115 Songs… 5 Biggest Lessons I Learned
1. Trust Your Heart – When I made decisions based on data or trends, I ended up disappointed. But the songs I believed in? Those became the hits. 2. Consistency is Everything – Growth happens when you commit to showing up regularly. Release often, even if you’re not 100% happy. 3. Be Your Own Champion – No one will hear your music if you don’t share it. Post it, promote it, and don’t worry about feeling annoying. 4. Numbers Are a Numbers Game – More music = more chances to connect. Release lots of music, and let time and unexpected moments work their magic. 5. Boost Your Signal – Running ads (like Facebook or Instagram ads) can be a game-changer. Invest in yourself to get heard. Making a music career isn’t easy, and it never becomes “effortless.” But with heart, consistency, and a willingness to invest in yourself, you can make a meaningful impact. ----- What have been the biggest lessons you guys have learned on your journeys so far?

What’s more important to you as a music producer... 🎵
Perfecting your technical skills or developing a unique artistic voice? I see a lot of people obsessing over mastering every plugin and sound design trick, yet they still feel like their tracks don’t stand out. On the flip side, there are artists who don’t know much about mixing but have a distinct, captivating sound that people instantly recognize. Do you think technical mastery should come before cultivating your unique style, or is it the other way around? How do you balance the two, and what challenges have you faced in YOUR own journey?

Having your own style of production. Look at some of top producers of today’s time like illmind, alchemist, beat butcha, etc. They’ve made a fortune off their own style, created sample packs and now they’re all across the country. New or Even Veteran Producers used their sample packs and make timeless music
Bad Advice 👎
What’s the WORST advice you’ve ever received when it comes to making music? Let’s hear those frustrating, demotivating, and even absurd pieces of advice you’ve encountered and then let’s collectively tear them down. What’s REALLY holding artists back from expressing their true selves, and what do you think we should be telling aspiring musicians instead?

Being told by A&Rs what music I had to make to fit in with the billboard requirements when technically there’s a specific content to a specific demographic they’re looking to sell and promote to. As long as your music is authentic to you and your audience, build from there. As you grow a bigger fan base and connect with your audience, you’ll see what they like, want and need musically.
