Hey all! I've been up, doom scrolling through all the deals being thrown my way from different cigar stores. I stumbled upon a pretty good deal from CI. I've always enjoyed the Ave Maria brand and I've had my eye on these for awhile. The $12 per stick always kept me at bay, but with a Vet discount, I picked up 5 for $25!

This is fast becoming my favorite cigar in our portfolio. A bold combination of Broadleaf and Habano C tobaccos delivers depth and balance. The Broadleaf imparts a lush sweetness with notes of dark cocoa, molasses, and earth, while the Habano C adds layers of pepper, cedar, and roasted nuts. Great pairing tonight with an Undercrown 10 and a dunkel from KC Bier. The chocolate notes of the cigar pairs nicely with the toasted hops of the beer. I am also drinking a healthy dram of Same Old Moses Tawny Port finished bourbon. The sweetness of the port is blending perfectly with the fragrance of the cigar. I'm a huge Undercrown fan and have smoke dozens but this is the first I've had of the 10 and I am impressed. It's not too spicy and a little less full strength than what I usually go to but it has an almost fragrant note in the smoke and the retrohale. It is tasting wonderful and I'm glad I have a few more that have come in sampler packs for me to enjoy!
