After taking some of Chuck’s advice I’ve been posting in a teacher retirement FB group in Michigan inviting teachers and consequently I’m up to 81 people in my new free community after almost 2 weeks. I’m ditching my old kajabi platform and sending all traffic to the Skool about page. I’m happy about the membership and genuinely excited to help teachers. The slight bummer is I had posted for a week in Skool about my first Q&A held this afternoon and I was hoping for 10+ people to show up especially with a 24 hour reminder yesterday. But only 2 people showed up (one being my wife 😂) but it was great to chat with the one other teacher for a bit. Chuck was nice enough to do a quick dry run with me this morning so I could see how to run the new livestream within Skool as far as chat features and backgrounds and such. They say the harder you work for something the more you’ll appreciate it so maybe next time with some additional notifications or routines established I can get more teachers in the livestream. Remember no one is rolling out the red carpet for our business - we actually have to put in the work. I’m going to keep plugging along and helping people and learning along the way. Hey Friends. Just updating my progress thanks to the support from Chuck in getting my community ready to launch a paid membership. I just posted a few AI generated tools for teachers to help calculate their retirement finances. I used ChatGPT to write code that I pasted into Replit and it created the tools and a URL to share. I could help if anyone wants more info on that process. Wishing everyone the best as we finish out 2025!

This week I posted 3 TikTok’s using creator search insights to specifically target teachers. The 3 posts caught fire and got 90k, 33k and 13k views and I mentioned my Skool link in each short video post. As a result in 2 days time I got over 200 members to join my Skool. Bringing the total to 630 members. I’ve also been doing YouTube shorts with the intent of doing YouTube long form but these quick TikTok’s have caught lightning in a bottle.
