Starting Sunday Id like us to take part in a 6 week dig into ourselves together. Today, a butterfly came to me — not by chance, but as a mirror of transformation. Its wings, deep black and alive with orange flame, seemed to whisper: “I am the Firewing — born of shadow and light. I come to remind you that your fire is sacred. You no longer need to burn yourself to shine.” The Catonephele aconitus, or Unspotted Firewing, carries the energy of creative renewal and self-ignition. It appears when your inner flame has completed its cycle of purification — when the ashes of old identities are ready to feed new creation. Orange speaks to the sacral and solar plexus: creativity, purpose, and confidence. Black, the mystery of shadow, the wisdom of everything once hidden. Together, they say — transform, but stay grounded; express, but stay true.
