For me I don’t mind both either. I like the gi as it gives me a chance to slow the game a little with offering more opportunity for attacks/submissions. I do also like no-gi once my grips are knackered 🤣, nah, it allows for a more of a flowing game for myself and great with a similar skill level training partner. I believe you also have to be more precise with your attacks, for your chances of landing them are greatly reduced due to the lack of friction and everyone’s favourite, sweat 👍
