Incline Bench Angle Question:
Does the bench angle have an effect on muscle activation? Example: bench setting of 4 results in an about a 45 degree angle. Bench setting of 3 results in a 33 degree angle. Which setting is recommended if you want to focus on chest? Experimenting with it today as I have always been a “4” guy.

I noticed that I get a rush of blood to my chest at 30 degrees and 15 degrees while my triceps and rear delts get the blood rush at 45 degrees. Thanks for the tip!

@Jessica Calderone my wife was a classroom teacher for 20years before moving on to curriculum design. She would wake up 45min early and go for a weighted vest walk for 30min and mix in some runs. She ended up liking it so much she would wake up even earlier and exercise longer. Sometimes she’ll do hot yoga in the evenings when she’s tired as it clears her mind. Ultimately you have to find your fun.

@Jessica Calderone I absolutely hate running. I view it as a chore. Sometimes I don’t even like walking the dog. Looking like a meathead with dumb bells in my hands on a 15% inclined treadmill set to 2mph is fun for me however. Do you like to bike, swim, do Pilates? My advice, pick something you like and it will be easier.
Morning motivation!!
Morning - without a strong mind, the body will always falter. Pray, seek, humble yourself and great things will come. Silence the noise and own today!!

Thank you for the invite! I’m excited to see where nutrition will lead me as I modify exercises to account for limited range of motion after two shoulder reconstructions.
