What matters more long-term —owning Bitcoin, or building systems that continuously earn Bitcoin? Why?

Bitcoin Mining has been a key strategy for my family. It's important to support the network. You can DCA through your mining equipment and there can also be added tax and depreciation benefits, etc. It is the most competitive business in the world and we have our fair share of war stories. We have been mining for almost 5 years now.
