24K monthly revenue - 8 month in
Just wanted to share this with you guys. when i started like 8 months ago i had a goal to hit around 100 deals in my first year and get to about 15k MRR just selling reviews. Back then i honestly had no clue if this was gonna work. I was just hoping i could figure it out as i go. now we’re about 8 months in and i’ve done around 24k in revenue (not MRR). Super thankful for this community as i would have never made it without it. Lots of ups and downs, stressful days, times where everything feels all over the place and you don’t really know what you’re doing. What’s worked for me more than anything has been cold calling and just building relationships. I kept the offer simple with reviews as the entry point. Low friction and it actually gets results - that made it way easier to build trust and then upsell into better retainers after. But yeah i’m still figuring it all out. To this day, haven’t even properly started meta ads yet, still getting better with ghl automations or figuring out how to run my books ahah. But if there’s one thing i do feel confident on now - cold calling. So I am thinking of putting together a skool group just around that. Like how i approach calls, what’s working, staying consistent etc. if you want in just shoot me a dm here on skool and i’ll send you a link when it’s up.

Question about review automation request
How does GHL know when a job is completed? Or does your client has to trigger it manually inside the app so the automation gets activated? What's the best way to do this?

It would depend on the client. You need some sort of trigger. It depends on what software/things your client is using. For example, you could have their invoicing system have a web-hook, or shoot an automated email to you, which triggers the workflow.
What Am I missing???
I just started doing cold sms to contactors, but when they seem interested and I follow-up they never respond to my texts and when I try calling them, the calls don't go through. I am fairly new to cold sms and yes at least people seem interested but why aren't they responding?? How do I fix this? P.s - I've had these leads for a while and they aren't in a particular niche, I'm not sure if that may be contributing to the problem or not. Feel free to give me any helpful advice regarding this.

Neither one of those seems very interested if that is what you are asking. Persinally I hate the can you handle X more leads. I get those texts 3x a day

@Ethan Hoedt how many texts do you send and how many responses? I think you need to offer something, so maybe leads works, but try to get some back and forth still
