I really enjoyed this topic and am definitely interested in seeing the geography of other locations like you mentioned in the video! I think knowing the geography really does add an element of reality and extra measure of belief knowing that Christ did walk this earth and was intentional about location! Just another layer of goodness to His brilliant masterpiece!
Thank you Eric for answering my questions regarding Skool. If anyone has ideas for future Monday Meeting subjects, please put them in the comments. We also welcome ideas for future courses.
While I understand you can’t teach a full language through a course, I think it would be cool if there was a course on Hebrew language, highlighting the major differences from English that have important implications, how we can use the elementary principles of Hebrew to better interpret Scripture, credible Hebrew language resources to use in word studies, pearls of wisdom you learned while studying Hebrew culture, how it informed your understanding of Scripture, etc. Maybe Hebrew language could be one course and transporting into the Hebrew culture/customs of the day could be another. In general just helpful to know the more about the ancient near Eastern cultural background of the Bible outside of our Western presuppositions!
@Jocelyn Paige Bush my wife and I have various FCA connects and could help plug into those if you’d like! A lot of our connects are from Decatur but we also know the Springfield staff.
I just taught about Five Fold Ministry and the School of Ministry to a conference full of our pastors in Liberia, Africa. HERE IS A SHORT RECAP: https://youtu.be/UQmnTpnKPG0
