Niche Selection
Hey Adam, I know you focus mostly on people that already have a podcast and want to grow it. My question, did you cover Niche selection in one of your episodes (passion vs money making as an example)? I can't remember and I have so many of them favorited I might as well just have your entire podcast favorited! 🤣

@Adam Schaeuble I was curious as to your take on it. I have my own feelings but I want to give the best advice possible not just my thoughts and feelings. My new start is wanting to help others start and launch a podcast. So I'm gathering advice from others I know and trust to support or give other advice on what's the best way to approach picking a niche.

@Adam Schaeuble I definitely did not ask so you would have more on your plate to deal with. I can't thank you enough for that response!!

Looks great, thanks Adam!
Breaking up recordings into multiple episodes
I just recorded an episode for almost two hours. Are there any drawbacks to breaking it up into Part 1 and Part 2? What considerations should be made?

@Elisa Sparkman So you are answering their curiosity by doing this. That's pretty awesome! They probably don't think it'll be a short episode and it sounds like they'll be excited to listen in. Is that a drastic difference from your normal episodes?

@Elisa Sparkman I think that makes it even better. I definitely don't think you can go wrong as a full episode. Personally, I'd take the risk and release it as one so they don't have to wait for the full story. I know I prefer the whole story and if I need to cut it off, I will but I'll be right back at it with my first opportunity. If I know something is going to be a 2 parter, I'll wait to even start it. But I've been told I'm weird. lol Take all that with a grain of salt, I may not be like your normal audience so it's really tough for me to say with certainty. You know them way better than me, trust your gut! I think it's awesome you're being transparent and having him on. Not just transparent with him but with him and in front of your audience. Good luck on the episode! I bet it'll get lots of listens.
Introduction and ....
Hello, my name is David. I had a podcast called "From Debt to Wealth to Impact" back in 2021. I can't believe it's been 5 years this month. Sheesh. I had 27 episodes and then a combination of life getting in the way and other things, I decided to pause it for a little while. % years later.....oops. Anyway, I just retired from being a FedEx driver after 32 years. I bought a travel franchise and now that I have all this free time. I want to get back into podcasting. Here's the thing. I prefer audio, so I lean towards doing a podcast, but can I really get travel clients from that? YouTube is basically a search engine, but I don't like the time and everything involved with video. I am looking for some feedback if doing a podcast for travel clients is even feasible.

Welcome aboard!! This sounds like a cool podcast idea. I know it'll be to gather customers but will it be information about things you can do at different places? So people know what they can do there and also maybe appeal to people who don't have the money to travel but could learn about different places?

@Elisa Sparkman Once you have us following you, most of us are locked in. So changing the extension doesn't matter to us. It will affect people searching, make it easier for them to find you and your current topics if they don't already follow you. Totally agree with @Adam Schaeuble! He can change everything about his podcast name and he's stuck with me. Just like his cool new photo a few weeks back! We see that stuff but the extensions usually go unnoticed, at least by me. lol
